its chinese and its the "bat gwa" literally translated sounds like 8 hanging or sounds like curious in cantonese but is something else completely. the words in this tell the directions North, North East, East, South East, South, South West, WEst, North West. the bat gwa besides being a sort of ward is also used in martial arts. theres a lot to it that i dont remember or know but this is what i can remember from what my father told me a logn time ago

@nuclear silo are you serious? this is just traditional chinese. most people who were in hk for the past half a century should still know this. its only because china started using simplified that people dont recognize these words.

Forget the talisman, every Chinese transliteration in this game is messed up.

Okmungwan = Yumen Guan
Jangan = Chang'an
Mangyang = Wangliang
Hyeongcheon = Xingtian
Jecheongseong = Qitiansheng
So-Ok = Xiaoyu (my favorite)
