overhealing and glut healing are two 'absolute' damage attacks. which pretty much means that you'll deal xxxx damage on someone regardless of their defense.

it's not really useful in the beginning but later on, you can easily one shot wizards with it even if they have 8 bless spells, warrior buffs on them lol

i like using it.

note: these two skills are linked I beleive, so you cant use them right after each other.

Sure, for a pure str, those skills make a LITTLE more sense (but not much) if you occasionally switch to cleric mode. I guess if you're throwing heals or rebuffing and you are caught off guard you could use 'em, but truly your warrior skills would trounce the cleric damage.

I have overhealing at level 5 and it's still only like 2800-2900 damage. Yes, it does work against higher level monsters too, but it also drops slightly - like against a level 74 monster (I'm 64) it does about 25xx. Not sure why as absolute damage is supposed to disregard defense...

Don't use other attack skills for cleric though. Keep the sub as a sub and not like a true cleric.

They aren't linked.

Such fun skills. Needed for group PvP if you're the cleric as a pure str.
You cast one or two of those skills on an enemy getting attacked by a party mate, and the enemy is down for sure.

These 2 skills are really important, especially if you are in Light Armors. I eat Pure INTs in PvP with these 2 skills.

A level 6X of ANY build can never deals 1k+ damage to a level 90 full sosun armor set enemy UNLESS they use Over Healing. That tells you how powerful this skill is.

The way the damage is calculated (not just Over Healing, but for all attacks) is a 2.5% damage punishment per level. So let's say your Over Healing an enemy that is 10 levels above you, you will be dealing 25% less than the stated damage.

On a side note, if you are using a normal attack skill or nuke on an enemy 10 levels above you, you will have to go though his higher armor and also takes this same 25% damage punishment.

Over Healing and Glut Healing owns. Max them both if you have enough sp. And if you have too much sp, get Heavenly Flash too very useful.

Those two skills are godly. Even with a slightly slower casting time than usual spells, they can power through any armor or buffs and cannot be blocked.
