Well, on one hand the PS3 is starting to get out the good games I.E. Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBig Planet, and metal gear online to name a few. But the 360 has a larger collection of games that have been around for some time and get good reviews on most of them. Although, PS3 has free online, the 360 xbox live is 50 dollars a year for gold membership. So if I were to say, I say that the 360 is the best on the market at the moment.

only reason i would EVER get a ps3 is for the blu ray.
in fact if the ps3 didnt cost less than blu ray it would lose more than 60% of all sales.
the blu rays here still cost up in the 600's, i might be getting a ps3 soon if the prices dont go down.

ah but you have to hope that a person who gets an xbox 360 is frikken retarded enough to put it on the carpet with the fans down or on any heating surface so that they can get the red ring. then you have to send it back to microsoft and wait for a month or 2 and then you get it back.

ps3 all the way you can browse internet on their free online no acc needed like x box live and better graphics and more well known games on it like MGS 4:Guns of the patriots and DMC 4

360 FPS's aren't that good, you get to choose between a spartan with high-tech space armor(halo), a convict with high-tech space armor(gears of war), or will really mix things up, a robo-cop...with high-tech space armor(crackdown), all the titles just mimic each other...onlines ok but when i play at a friend house online we usually get stuck in a game with a bunch of 8 yrs spamming the grenade button on Halo 3. never played a ps3 but there franchise as far as i can think of don't copy each other.

My Xbox 360 died last week because the 3RROD (3 Red Rings of Death) error occurred and my warranty expired. Even after almost 3 years, Costco let me return it back for a full refund. Since so many people here prefer the Playstation 3, then I'll go on ahead and purchase one myself. I was considering on buying another Xbox 360, but the 3RROD is something I don't want to encounter again in the future. Even the Xbox 360 Elites and the Halo 3 Special Editions still suffer from that problem. At least from my experience, I've never had any problems with any of the Playstation consoles in the past and I expect the same thing with the Playstation 3. Gran Turismo 5, here I come.

If i'd make my choice purely based of hardware the PS3 would win hands down.
But the games that there are for the 360 made me choose that one instead.
I like racing games ( Forza 2, PGR4/ Race Driver GRiD ) but on the other hand i like to play an FPS sometime ( Bad Company/CoD4 ).
I know these games aren't exclusive. However the ability to connect ur 360 to a PC screen, now that's a big plus.
My old TV which i barely use can display up to 480P i think. However most pc screens can display 720P if it isn't higher.
My screen unfortunately cant display 1080P, but it can do 1360 x 768 and it looks great.
I was a PS fanboy but i am not anymore.
The exclusives just don't interest me anymore. MGS4 isnt my thing and GT5 neither, it's just to focused on looking nice than being enjoyable
