It's the same. Here in the Philippines we use color. When I'm in school I use color but when I'm typing or posting something on the internet I use colour and armour. It's pretty nice to type.

It depends on what you set the spell check as. If you have it set to The Queen's English then any American derivative will have a red line underneath. Likewise with American English its just the opposite.

This is an argument that comes up a lot in SevenHearts IRC. I think it should be without the u, because with the u, it looks like it'd be pronounced differently. Same with "center." "Centre" looks like it'd be pronounced sent-tray. I am American, yes, but I do prefer it so that letters that have nothing to do with the pronunciation, aren't in the word.

Well in Canada we write it as colour and flavour as supposed 2 the 2 letter less lazy way

Colour, you know, in correct English.

ON the subject of center and centre, each represents something different. Center like in the middle of something, centre as in a specific place or building.
