closes at 3% HELP

hey guys, ive tried to install the game on my laptop and the game is installed fine. i then load up the client and it gets to 3% on the update, and closes. i dont know what to do! someone please reply! thanks.
(ive re-installed 5 times)

when you have reinstalled...did you delete the remainings of the folder 'SilkRoad'? Make sure you delete it completely after uninstalling

This happened to me too, I installed direct X 9.0 and the updates for my graphics card, but if you've done all of that im not sure how to help you.

1. Check if there is enough HDD Space
2. De-Install completely with Software Uninstall
3. Re-Install in another Location, not the same
4. Check if there is Internet Connection

5. Update
