what should the hybrid be? like 2:1, 3:1. 4:1 etc.

Euros shouldn't be made into hybirds, they suck when they are hybird.
My friend made a hybird cleric/rogue and when its cleric it ok but rogue it just sucks big time.

well wiz/warlock is overkill to me, and some warlock skills are abosolute damage. so why not get some def in there so u can take a few hits. its pretty lame when i pvp with my full int wiz/war and it becomes a game of who will hit first, which then makes me only use wizard.

hybrid ints shouldnt take melee class...
anyways hybrid warlock/wizard works since wiz overkills, and warlock depends on long fights

I went hybrid warlock/wiz till around 63 till I switched to cleric (sp issues)
Hybrid is worth it, a 86-90% Mag balance is appropriate imo. It saves your life SO many times.
Don't listen to other people who haven't had such a build.

The only euro Hybrid build that I know it works is 4str:3int wizard/warrior. It have 3 modes:
1) Full nuker mode with Life Control on 24/7
2) Semi nuker that have decent survivability
3) Warrior with 1hs, focusing on Shield Trash and Shield Crush
For most of the time the build will be in mode 1. The only place that you would use mode 2 is in tight spaces like Donwhang Cave. When monster want to hit you, switch to mode 3 and use Shield Trash and Shield Crush to knock the enemy away. Nuke the enemy after you do this. If you have enough sp max Turn Raising to knockdown the enemy, run backwards+teleport and nuke him when he gets up.
For any other build, probably better to go full str or full int. Any ratio of str lower than 4str:3int for euro you cannot survive anyways, so might as well go full int.

but the problem with pure int is that what if you don't one hit? then ur screwed so you rely on one hitting everything all the time. i'll rather maybe one hit but i can take 2-3 hits, or enough for me to survive until i can pull off 2-3 nukes. i think this way i can kill people way easier, but just longer.

O_o of course you shouldn't have a hybrid str euro the weapon has no magic attack, and if its hybrid int than no int should be using a str weapon.
OT: Hybrid warlock/wiz is the only euro hybrid I can think of that makes any sense; the extra str means more survivability and the debuffs from warlock will easily make up for the dmg lost and then some.

My friend is Warlock/Wizard, and he is also hybird, he started as warlock/bard, and added lots of str at the early lvls, then changed to warlock/wizard when he hit lv50, now he is lv70 with 8k HP and 13k MP, he can life control and hit as strong as full int with no life, and still have more HP, and i seen him in CTF event, when i oblivion ress him "not sure of the skill name", and with being warlock, he is unbeatable for the 2min with 5 attacking him, he kills 2-3 of them before he runs out of the ress buff, and a double daggers with DD was also unable to kill him, very strong, and very good build, and his magical is 90%+ with premium plus and phy 75% with the full set, but he still tells me that comparing to full int, he wish he had made more int rather than str, but not fully int, cause that dies so fast althought he would be deadly, but the survivability would get lower big time.

dont do it. Euroes unlike chinese chars shouldnt be made hybrid because in any given build you have either magical attacks or physical attacks, never both unlike chinese chars which can mix imbues with weapon skills. in this example the chinese char benifits not only from the extra health of going hybrid but also from the extra physical damage they would inflict. euroes can only do either magical damage or physical damage in any given attack so to be hybrid does not postitively affect a euro char in this sence. furthermore if your a wizard your gooing to be probobly using life control anyway so youll still get 1 shoted in pvp even by bladers, so the extra str goes to waste. i would strongly suggest you dont make this build hybrid

With life control/turnover, the HP would be 6.5k and still with a full blues defence it would be hard to be one shotted except for 2h crit prehaps. And the main build is warlock and not wizard, which can help in taking more than few hits and by then the target would be either stunned or slept, debuffed, and then switched to wizard with life control/turnover, and do couple of hits and the target would be pawned, also since its hard to get 1 shot at wizard specailly if no life control/turnover is on when caught in suprise, the wizard can go invisible, have the HP maxed, and get back either as a wizard or warlock.

Wizard/Warlock doesn't need any Str. Make him Pure Int. The whole idea of Warlock sub is to debuff and imobilize him before he has chance to hit you.

i'm thinking exactly what welcomes said. i'm not planning to wiz main. this is a pvp build with wizard being main only in pve, and somtimes warlock for giants and party mobs. in euro pvp's it gets stupid to one hit everyone. this is to mix it up a bit. with warlock as main i don't often get one shoted and if i do thats where invis => change wep => stun => change to staff => nuke.
if i get one shoted when i'm wizard then i'm screwed because its realyl hard tot ouch them. i've been doing CTF lateley and rouges kill me the most because of their range and their damage, not to mention it doesn't take long for them to cast an attack. i see in guides where people say in pvp the wizard needs to make the first attack. this is where warlock is helpful with getting the first attack.
i'm thinking that if i main warlock, then i can take on basically anyone my level on 1v1 and possibly few levels higher if i have decent equips, rather than being a wizard and can be one shoted by people lower level than you.
I wonder how long wizards survive in group battles. if wizards can't get in one attack then their screwed. this is why warlock/wizards are god because of aoe stun/steep => switch ti staff => life control/turnover/ aoe nuke.
plus with the huge variety of skills in the warlock/wizard tree theres so many ways to kill people. a lot more fun than nuke and pray.

hp= 14100 74% phy balance
mp= 20567 90% mag balance
this is also with only str/int blues. Idk how much the total hp and mp up would b with 9d stuff
