they bought the files off joymax or someting i think so its legal, real life wise

I believe those files were stolen. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think JM would sell their own game files. It would be bad business sense to do so.
Similar to how people from SRA are paying people for the SQL files not Joymax.
