Nahh... I got lots of stuff to suck on but i still suck my pen.

I have licquorice wood to chew/suck on, but when I don't I chew on pens and everything I can get my hands on.
Idk, maybe something went wrong when i was young but I always need something to chew on. I chew on most plastic things chewable, I have a garbage bin full of plastic lids of my orange juice chewed to shit.

Well as an avid pen chewer I must say I prefer blue papermate pens. If you get a really good chew pattern going you can chew all the way around the cap until you cam pop the little circular center piece off the top of the cap, which then you can chew until it is flat and then fold it in half while biting down on it. Then fold in half again and bite on it until it is smooth. Then you still have the entire pen cap to continue chewing on after you are done with step one.

I passed alot of time in class way back when perfecting the art of chewing the pen cap. Also the little stick piece is great as well. you can chew it flat and make little indentations on it with your teeth until you can curl it around in a little curled circle.

Wow so I put way to much time into pen chewing, I guess it is better than eraser and paste eating.

Actually it goes a step further. Many habits such as nail chewing, thumbs sucking and even smoking are all related back to this. One of our first natural instincts as a kid is to suck. Now if this desire to suck isn't fulfilled it can lead to such habits being taken up to fulfill this desire.

I dont know the exact science behind it but it was something i was taught back in the days of school, the more technical side of it i have forgotten though.
