An emulator is for personal use, or are you making it so that someone can run a server from their computer, and others can join? Because I saw above that you will have admins watching the servers and banning bots ( which I add I LOVE), and I thought that implied that you would be hosting this "private" server

Hello all,

This is the latest news about our emu for iSRO. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me either here or at our forums.

Ok well so far i have now got a c# login server running with image code
and i have started on the game server

as soon as i have the game server running stable for connections Mayfair is going to host a invited selection of members to test the connection and login features

please accept this is a big jump from vb6 so it will take a bit of time but very soon i will release a video or ss of the login server and game server in action

the mysql database is now added with a few other bits

but more to come on this soon

i was going to do both login and game server as console apps i have now scrapped that idea and they will both be Gui as this is more user friendly for other options we wish to add

some pepole can not do console commands and stuff so we want to make it as basic as possilble to use

1. Will xp/ sp rates be higher? (cause if so I'll love you cause a year to get to 71 is ridiculous)

2. Item drop rate gonna be equal between players rather than JM's "No sox or Many sox policy" ?

3. Is it gonna be as functional as isro? (quests,uniques,alchemy,jobbing/fortress etc.)

4. Do you have an estimated time on it's release?

I have one question as well as suggestion, would you be able to lower sp requirments? Cause if so I'd suggest it cause It's to much of a hassle having to farm a few months in order to get new skills. I'm sure you'd agree.

I also think that xp rates should be increased at higher lvls atleast cause it increase by a % of the previous lvl it seems which get's higher and higher each lvl.
For example: 1+1=2+2=4+4=8+8=16+16=32+32=64=64=128=128=256+256=512+512=1024
It's gonna be just as annoying as isro and I believe this to be one of the main reasons why ppl are tempted to bot. This along with insane sp needs. However the server getting started is more important, I would like to ask you to take this into consideration. Maybe take a vote or a poll amongst people.

Yes i agree with you on most of this. Also yes it will be a good idea for a poll on the rates and stuff like that, But as i said before we need to get the server running correctly before we think about this kind of stuff, But once we get the server running correctly i will speak to my uncel (evestu) about a poll on the rates and stuff.

Well, We completed most things on the Visual Basic 6 version, But Visual Basic 6 can not handel alot of connections. So we decided to make a C# server, We have completed the login server, We are now working on the game server, But we have just started to work on the gameserver so i think we need a little more time But evestu is coding very fast and he has never coded in C# before he is still learning but it only took him 1week max to complete the login server and to make the login server connect to the game server. So i think our progress is quite good for the fact that evestu has never coded in C# before, We did join teams with weeman2005 (The admin of the sremu database team) but since evestu completed the login server weeman2005 hasnt been online or anything, So we are currently trying to talk with him and see whats up so at the moment its only evestu coding the server. But im sure it will not take long as he is coding very fast

I'm glad to announce that evestu has completed the login server for the C# Server, We have just started to work on the game server and already evestu has made it so we can create a character and log into jangan and be able to run around and also be able to chat.

I will be hosting a server either tonight or tomorrow, but only team members and beta testers can connect to the live server for now, Because we need to test everything. If you would like to become a beta tester please post your application in the Team Application section on the forum, And I will reply to tell you if you have been accepted or not. But please give us a little bit of consideration for all the time evestu has spent working on this C# Server, He has mostly programmed this himself.

Hmm, Why the **** has "venice" never released a "Working" server, Only released some "screen shots" that was from someone else's server (Ours). Where did you see this "GM SAL" in our videos or screen shots. If you would have read at rage zone you would have seen alot of people saying the exact same thing. Before you come here chatting shit, Please read more into your "so called" Fake. You will see when we open up the live testing server for only team members. Did you even download our compiled server of the VB6 one. You would have seen its ours you f.u.c.k.i.n.g noob.

Sorry to admins for swearing but i dont like this kind of stuff. If admins think this is bad feel free to remove the post. (But if i was you i would be removing this stuipd member above me )

Hello everyone,

As you can tell we haven’t posted a news recently regarding the C# emu, This is because evestu took a short break from working on the server. I would like to let all our users know that evestu is back and working on the C# emu again, He will be working on the emu fixing known bugs and adding some new features. I will post more news regarding the new features and bug fix's when they are done.

I would also like to thank all the users that still kept our community going while we was on a short break and also all the users that visit our mIRC channel, It is great to still see all the regular members on mIRC still showing that they support us.
