if you have a cleric in your party and you are on the winning team
you should share your wealth of winning tickets with him

you most likely won mostly with his suport, healing, buffs, bless
keeping you alive longer so you can make that kill

while he was doing that he was not getting kills
dont think you were so good that you deserved all your tickets
it is a team event, a good team wins most times
a team with a good cleric almost always wins
even a bad team can get lucky (to many on other team dc or dont play well together)

so think of your cleric, offer a small portion of your winnings
if the cleric recieved enough then he should refuse of course, but if not, the cleric will alway want to be on your team if you remember him

It is true though, the way the event is made, it's very hard for support characters to get rewarded. Maybe for every character you bring back to life.... of course that still leaves bards out...

Of course, you also have idiots who shouldn't get tickets. IMO, a cleric that uses bless at the dumbest times and uses that weak shoot white ball of magic at enemies attack and that's all he/she does doesn't really deserve tickets. Clerics that constantly heal... They can have all my tickets shoo. So much fun just standing there and watching your opponents try their best to kill you and ur hp never drops below 50% XD

heh, sounds good, it'd be nice if CTF wasn't still bugged second to the last time I tried. I don't mind if I don't get any tickets, long as the team wins.

Last time I played, I got one ticket. I buffed up as many as I could with str/int buffs, then the defensive buffs (61 phys inc, 40+ soul blessing for me) and ran around ressing everyone who died only to get killed myself three times. Honestly, I think you need two clerics in CTF.

nah, at 80 cap i had 80 force and as soon as id vital spot id get gangraped.
the res was ok til someone saw i had it, then id get gangraped again.

its not as big of a target as a wiz subcleric though.

i play chinese force/bow/galvie (low lvl char so i got enough masteries for this)

and in event, i ress and keep everyone alive, i can even attack when needed, i dont get as many tickets because i ress/heal... and when i dont, they cry ress... resss...resssssssssssss!!!!

made me mad enough a few times that when i got same people in team, i took flag and teleported to town

anyways, tickets should go item share too so everyone gets about equal amounts

No , you cant ... I play myself as Cleric ... and you cant say I dont know how to use it xD ...
1. You cant cast offering at all ... there will be always someone that will keep your HP below 95%
2. Everyone will attack you first ... and 8 of them can kill you even blessed
3. You cant do anything with Trial Cross / Justice Cross , the damage is too low , same goes for Over Healing / Glut Healing
4. You need support your characters and heal them , giving you less time for attacking ...

When I want to get some tickets I play as Wizard ... When I wanna chill out a bit and have fun , I play Cleric.

I see now , why you wrote this MissLe2 ... playing Cleric yourself ... Meh ... tickets arent worth ...
I go to CTF to get like 2% from event mobs (They give alot of exp).

In all seriousness, the question of survival isn't on the cleric's shoulder, it's on the warrior's. The main person the cleric wants to keep alive is the warrior to save their own ass.

Was with 2 clerics the other day. Both appeared to have no understanding of the english language. ý dont fully know why...

anyway, they just used their other class (wiz and axeman) for the whole fight, died. a lot.
not all clerics are good. some are just stupid.

Cleric beats Force anytime if they know how to use their skills,
they can res many team members in a certain range(maybe all, i dunno),
they can actually buff, which chinese can't do.
(Only difference is, the chinese can use vital spot series to weaken the opponent.)

I give em my tickets if i don't really need em cos they deserve it, but I also wanna have my hp grain at the end of the day

I never got in CTF with Warrior ... but once I was with Cleric ...

So they were camping us and killing us all the time (8 guys in our base ...)
I tanked all 8 of them ... Like this - The second cleric ressed me with Oblation (yeah, Cleric is fast enough to res someone with Oblation even when there are 8 campers) ... I used Bless and used Oblation on the Cleric , he casted lower level bless ... then I used party res

And then we all got pwned xD ... I got video of doing that :O

tried the CTF with my cleric last night..

lvl 60 with 54 mastery...
52 som+3 cleric rod and 60+7 shield..

ended up getting 16 kills and the flag win.

but then again it might be because the other team had quite a few ints around... making it fairly easy for me to 1 hit them with the cleric attack... got 2 guys with offering tho... but it's very hard to get it to go off as most people will come after you once they see you...

i'm cleric and I always pull out my staff with lvl 44 masteries just so i can get some tickets because as a cleric you get nothing, because joymax doesn't understand killing =! winning the round and the ctf has little real incentive to win the match vs just killing people since you get 1 ticket for winning and 1 ticket per kill

i agree with the topic starter. i have played cleric, and it really sucks not getting any tickets at all . also, i think all the tickets should be automatically shared in the party. because i got 7 tickets (playing warlock) while my friend _Avy_ got 17! and im pretty sure that the warriors dont get alot of tickets either. JM should really make it so the tickets of each team is shared fairly. no wonder i havent seen alot of full cleric or warriors in stf. only xbow rogues and wiz -.-

Don't forget the constant cries for "resssss" when people do something stupid like a wizard charging into 5 event mobs...c'mon, even cleric buffs won't keep you alive then.

A well-made party should be protecting the buffers, tanking with warriors, and keeping the wizards back and safe. The clerics should have RD on and divvy up str/int buffs according to need, know when to save bless for an emergency and healing cycle constantly moving around on warriors/wiz (as well as on himself, when the need arises)

Anyway. I digress. I don't play CTF much anymore, as I'm sp farming now so I can close up my gap for lvl 64.

thats the only reason i switched playing ctf from my lvl 32 cleric to my lvl 32 rogue. i got no respect D: all i did was heal and res constantly > < the most frustrating thing is no one in Pluto speaks english D: its so hard to play team games with people of different languages .__.

I've pretty much quit going cleric in CTF. No one has ever offered to give me a single ticket. I don't have the cleric attack skills maxed (I solo as a bard) so kills are not easy to achieve. Lucky for my frustration levels, I don't go for the silly tickets - I go for the xp from the mobs.

Since I usually find myself in parties with 7 Chinese characters, all I get are yells for buffs (some polite, some not) and then cries for resssssss. I end up getting all of the mobs on me (RD ftw ), no help from the others, who've usually gotten the key and gone for the flag, ignoring the rest of the mobs altogether. I can tank for a while, no problem, but when the opposing team rushes in and I'm still tanking mobs, I don't have much chance because they head straight for the cleric.

And don't get me started on spawn campers.

The only time I've had any real fun in CTF was when half of my team were guild/union mates, and half of the opposing team were guild/union mates. No spawn camping, everybody allowed to res and buff before being targetted. All the laughter in vent and insults in chat. It was so much fun.
