1. Update and turn on Game Gaurd
2. Limit the ammount of allowed registerations per day from unlimited to say 200
3. E-mail a verification link to activate an account
4. Reduce Server capacity and stop making new servers
5. GM's do random but quick inspection of towns for gold bot lines
6. Bot ban every inspection

im supprised you think this would actualy happen. Joymax dosnt give a ****. my best advice would be to get plvled/farmed by the bots and when your capped and fully farmed you whoop thier @ss in pvp/job/fw

I'm almost convinced that a planned call to the korea office would definitely get under their skin and they might actually budge a bit in their seats and do some work. someone just make a thread, set a week of when to do mass complaint calls. their offices are open from 9:30am to 6pm i believe? monday through friday, if anyone wants kinipio's extension # u can pm me if you want it..

it's not as hard as most people would first think, they're polite and easy to conversate with. just go out and buy a $5 international calling card, when you do just pm me when you want the # to their office

yeah of course Joymax is greedy and wants money. there a frigin soul-less corperation (they all are) that like all others is centered around one goal, making money, since the game is technicaly f2p and botters probobly provide the majority of JM's income JM is not gona take any intrest in removing them. =/

Apparently there's a bug where if you use a monster mask around someone using iSRO bot (I don't know how to tell the difference between bots) they attack you and they get a PK status.
Can someone test to see if it works? Would be awesome =D

If they didn't care, why would they continue to update the international version? It's a small staff doing their best to run 3 games at once. Don't expect much.

It's more a thing though with bots that it was a lot easier to prevent then cure. Just change the map coords to screw over auto-training and put some fake data in the stream to play with any attached third party program reading info from the client. Doesn't get rid of them immediately, but sure as hell screws them over.

Wanna know how to completely get rid of gold bots and make it easier to log in to the game at the same time?

1. REMOVE GOLD DROPS COMPLETELY
2. Lvl 1-20 everything is free, items can only be given by/to npc
- Armors, acc, etc given as reward for completing quests
- potions/consumables given to player when quest is taken
- This time can be seen as "Military Service" to Jangan or Constantinople, until freedom is earned at lvl 20.
3. Increase profits from merchant trade runs 3-5x (includes both hunter and thief profits)
4. Completely eliminate 1 star protection, except on VERY FIRST trade.
- Seriously learning how isnt that difficult and everyone understands after the first one.
5. Lvl 20+ only way to gain gold is Triangular Conflict System
6. Problem Solved.

If gold bots try to abuse trade system, player thieves can keep them in check. :/

This game already has everything it needs for people to make gold for themselves and to self regulate. Some simple changes is all we really need to completely remove the current Gold Bot problem.
STRIKE THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM, don't just address the symptoms. Only banning gold bots is like wiping your nose when you have a serious illness...without medication your nose is just gonna keep on running XD...

Stand outside town bot path or make a bot trap = ban

Go to grind spots PM PEOPLE no response = ban

It wouldn't ruin the game, it would stimulate it alot >_>... As long as there are gold drops, you'll have gold bots. NO MATTER what in game mechanic you try to keep the bots in check, it will only be a matter of time before the bot makers find a way to circumvent it.

if joymax is to lazy to do or get a good software anti-bots the only way to stop the bots is ban IP goldbots each week with the inspection, the gold bots company will be crazy creating 1k-1.5k(yes i think each server have 1000-1500gold bots) characters each week.

charge a nominal fee per month say 5 or 10 US to play per account

change the account char limit ot say 3 or you can leave at 4

gold bots will have to pay to get gold, will pass this on to thier customers, so gold price will go up, so many will not buy because of high price, so gold bots will not be needed as much, so more will be able to play, and less bots will be around gold farming

for lvl bots, only thing you can do is the random question that has to be answered to stay logged on, only problem with that is those in stall will not be around to answer, if you have the question not be asked in town, the bot programmers will add return to town every hour then back out so question is missed
