Bow -> forever poor?

lvl 8 archer and I cant afford NPC bow.. I can't buy anything cause I need alot of arrows. And maybe I lose dropped gold as I haven't been able to buy silk yet, to get an ability pet.
Is it always like this at low lvl? I can't remember anything like that with s/s or spear at low lvl. Not rich but wth not even NPC weap? Now I'm feeling like the biggest noob ever, running around picking gold that nobody picks, and killing mangyangs =[
I want my som set on Xian and the 35 mil hahaha. now what?

When your a little bit higher, say 2x, you wont have a problem with buying arrows or NPC bows

What bow users spend on arrows they make up for it by not having to by very many hp pots

yeah not alot of HP pots, that's true. But now I can't afford any kind of pots anymore lol. Still grinding on mangyangs to get 4.5k for the bow xD

no way. Ever since I got my nukes on an invent of large pots 30% hp 70% mp im making a 80-150k profit every full grind run at lvl 33.

Go to Roc Mountain and pick up some drops from people that grind there ... You can get easily 100k in less than hour (as I've been told).

you use what 1 pot every 1 or 2 mobs? bow would use like 15 arrows (thats even a lot)... but 15 arrows for 30gold... or 1 pot for ugh... depends on pot size , bow would use just 1 pot in like 5 mobs or i do :S

+1 im having probs with making profit when i come back from grinding for my mp pots

if i dont get a drop i lose money if i get 1 drop i stay even pretty much if i get more then 1 drop i gain money, problem is at scorps with all the ks bots i hardly ever get any drops




Back to the topic i never had any problem with my bow char getting enough money for npc cr@p and arrows.

Yeah. Id say you just need a lucky drop to get you started. When i started i could fund my pots without loosing or gaining any cash.

if you really need money and you're a pure str bow

just set auto pot hp to 30% and mp to 15%
use herbs to around lv 10 then start to use pots

dont bother with keeping high hp/mp because if you die it isnt a big deal, before lv 10 you acn ress on stop, after that, just ress in town and you'll get some hp/mp back then use teleport npc to get back to grinding within a minute

you can also manually use pots if you are fighting giant and dont want to die

The reason you're losing money is because of tax, and you couldn't do the beginners quest. Beginners quest gives you armor so you spend less hp, gives you money, and tax takes it all away. You should do yangyungs request, because that gives you mp pots, and the beginners quest (which you can't do, sadly) should have given you some good hp pots.

Sorry, but it's not a noob friendly world. Just give yourself 20k from another account and you should be fine though.
