buy shitty book rather than doing virtual stuff...or look around world is big
Re: RUNNING TWO SRO'S AT THE SAME TIME
Eh, you know how to emulate a gfx card in VMWare ?
Even fucking Ubuntu runs like a bitch on VMWare .. let alone trying to run a MMO with the specs silkroad has.
Good luck trying to do that.

Running two SRO's client simultaneously is tough on most PCs from the last year and earlier. Running even one on VMWare and the like would most likely get your PC to crash or just work SO damn slow.
Maybe you have some trustworthy friend that can run your noob for you while you plvl it?
I am back to playing iSRO. cSRO is just not quite IT.

Multiclient is something completely different from Running a second SRO_client under VMWare.

Lol!
You'd be better off buying a cheap laptop. VMWare will destroy your PC, especially with another SRO client.

lol make sure taht you can atleast handle one sro before trying to run a virtual... even if you get that up.. not even sure if your 2nd sro will be able to handle it.

If you somehow manage to run an sro client on VMWare, youll get like a frame every 20 seconds, then youll DC.

You don't know that. For all we know, he can have a beast of a computer with quad core and a nVidia GeForce 8800 GT; which is perfectly capable of running two instances of Silkroad with minimal lag.

He's talking about VMWare, and hes right.
A quadcore geforce 8800 has nothing to do with vmware being able to run sro and let me tell you its virtually impossible to do so, the program wasnt meant to carry that big a load. Your comp wouldnt crash out, but the virtual one that VMWare would run would.

Re: RUNNING TWO SRO'S AT THE SAME TIME
I guarentee you he doesn't have a quad-core, why would he buy an expensive pc when he wouldn't buy another cheap one?
Re: RUNNING TWO SRO'S AT THE SAME TIME
the problem i had with vmware about 1 year ago was the gfx card part of it, not my gfx card but the one inside wmware that is the main problem i found..

There should not be a 'gfx' card inside of VMWare .. that's the whole point.
Only thing VMWare is good for is emulating a OS for people that can't be arsed to dual boot. It is NOT good for playing games to multi client. As Fudge said .. if by a miracle you manage to get it running .. it'll run at like 1 fp20s. And then probably fizz and BSOD.

Re: RUNNING TWO SRO'S AT THE SAME TIME
So uh, let's take a look at a hypothetical situation!
Both persons want to run two SRO clients.
Person A: Uses VMWare, with much strain to their PC along with hours of configuring settings to get it working to a playable state.
Person B: Uses a Loader, within 5 minutes and minimum strain has two characters connected. (let's say they both have premium, as it's nearly impossible to connect two non-prems in 5 mins)
Which choice is better?
