Okay, well you all know the theory that Joymax is the one behind the bots and that they sell gold and such? Well doesn't it kind of ring true right now? I mean, in the previous cap they made Sosuns drop like crazy in the beginning so people would buy a ton of gold to buy them..Well they've done it again, now they are reaching over 2-3 billion, which is a hell of a lot of money to spend on gold just for one Sosun..

I mean, just imagine the amount of gold someone would have to buy for a whole freaking set of these things...

No, JM just used a good moment to make some money. SOMEONE (not JM) filled the game with bots, servers became crowded...bah, idea, Premium Ticket. Gold selling? Without gold sellers there will be no bots, no bots(gold bots filling most of the server,not player bots), no traffic, no traffic, no premiums, no premiums, less money.

I believe they "accidentally" stumbled upon the bots, first it got so crowded, then they made that premium, and profited. Why would they take that away if their making money?

Also, I HIGHLY doubt they are the ones making the bots "collect money and sell it", if that was REALLY true [now dust off that old brain and use it] they would sell it on their website, without having to bot for it. I mean come on, they own the freaking game, they can generate gold if they want to.

It makes sense yet some other things doesn't. If JM were behind the Gold selling business they would also let people buy Item Mall stuff from stalls. In cSRO, those items sell the most. In this case they would win twice - people buy Item Mall items (purchase silk) and people buying gold to buy these items. Apparently they haven't done so, for whatever reason but possibly to prevent the expansion of the gold companies.

Its their game, they have the ability to dupe trillions of gold in a second. you used to be able to sell silk items very early in the game, but they got rid of that because people would just ccf with a fake account then exchange it over to their main.

Well there is a chance that JM could be behind the goldbots, why?
- They create goldbot to take up server space, thus forcing addicting player to buy the Ticket, which gives them money. As for the people who are against buying silk/ can't buy silk due to personal reasons, they keep trying to log in and I admire those for their actions lol. I was a GM in a Private Ragnarok server and I can create money with a single command, I'm pretty sure JM can create gold and sell it.

But as of right now, I could really careless about this, Im just trying to get to the top . Happy Grinding

clearly someone knows nothing about the art of competition... if joymax openly sold gold everyone would be pissed off as they would start it a normal price and be forced to push it up as there demand for higher amounts went up.... meaning there would be to much money in silkroad.... and the economy would be impossible

they need to sell it at a competitive rate acting as different companys with the same basic price but lil differences like a deal here etc... that way the gold price is stable and so is sros money issue but now onto the gold bots... without the gold bots in the servers who would honestly believe that joymax just wasnt selling it straight to the consumers? so they need to be there in order to make it seem like there are companys working for the gold.

What business does Joymax have selling gold to other games using several different companies? Of course you'll respond: So no-one gets on to their scheme. Yeah, sure.

You want to crowd servers, without bots? Reduce the size, ex: Ecsro.
You want to people to buy prem, without bots? Reduce the size of Servers. Not only do less people quit, Joymax makes more money with smaller servers not infested with bots (in general). Joymax' marketing strategy is shit, in terms of strategies for MMOs.
