I see what you were going for, depth is the issue here. It looks like two swirlies on the wall that *happen* to originate from where his hand is. It does not look like he is creating or manipulating the swirlies.

that's not goku....
I've seen goku in Love hina the day before yesterday, so...
that's not her....
but, even though it's not Goku, it's nice, cuz you can't really see that person you call 'Goku'

I see what you did there, you tried to make it so the C4D warps around the attack. Try to make it blend more, smudging might help. My little brother helped me make a sig for him awhile back, it isn't very good but it is the same concept as yours. What he did right was the C4D blending with the attack, try to smudge it around the attack.
