oh well i can't play today, though i would like to play some one soon, some time next weekend would be good, a weeks advance notice i hope would be enough to get some one for a match. Why resist urge to reinstall? it was a great game better then most of the lame games on the market today

One of the best games eva! I have played Heroes longer than any other game. I literally played that game every day for 5 years. I still play the damn thing LOL! Every version has its own charm to it.

In regards to Evan's concerns about time, should be right as rain if you set turn times to 2-5 minutes each per player. With four players, that means it cycles back to you every 15 minutes maximum. Go get a drink and do whatever during that time.

I wouldn't mind playing for that long either, especially considering it gets so broken up and you can do other things in the meantime.

Heaven knows I've had Battlezone fights last longer...

I'm not so sure about that.. Actually I have downloaded "Heroes of Might & Magic III: In the Wake of Gods" It contains the older .exe's so I think we could use that if you only have the original(w/o expansions).

I might need to update my original though to a later version. Gold versions I've seen generally tend to come with a later patch on them compared to the originals.

I think it's a custom mod... with lots of fixes and new features. Like the "Mithril System" you get mithril which you can use to improve a mine/training spot on the map, and the "Commander" units.. which acts as a hero and a unit.

I've had that problem before trying to play Company of Heroes.

Fix: Go to Network Connections, click Advanced --> Advanced Settings and "promote" Hamachi to the top of the connections list.
