Joymax getting it hard?

To be honest, cut them a little slack, everyone complains about all the gold bots, now they're trying to get rid of them and banning them, everyone is complaining they're still there? Joymax don't ban loads of bots, then put more on to piss people off, give them credit for trying at least.

I think they are, bot companies etc. always update their bot programs to work even if Joymax release a new update. Also, have you seen how many servers they are trying to maintain at one time?

Alright they might be trying to deal with the bots but seriously the amount of bots nowdays is outta control, maybe if they had GMs who are bloody online or a bot report button maybe we wouldn't be gunning them down that much and finally all these new servers/item mall items/new premium ticket to help us make gaming better ... FYUK all them ... rather have them deal with bots then new item mall items :!:

ha ha oh wow. funny thing is this new ban list is basically just old banlists put together with about 200 new bans. they don't deserve a little slack, the fact is that they don't care about the bots, they only "banned" some to try to make them look better so people will buy more silk when the next cap comes out. this happens with every new update usually. they're not trying to get rid of bots.

The ONLY and ONLY reason they release new updates is because if they didn't no one would play and would mean end of JM which they wouldn't want would they, and the list ... i reckon on the day they said they was releasing a bot list they went on each sever in DW and just quickly gathered 300 goldbot names + banned them and posted it but couldn't be bothered with Babel* :P

They're a staff of around 10. You think they can go into 30 servers and catch 2000 gold bots each and at the same time maintain two other games? Of course they can create something to instant catch, but hell.. nothing comes out perfect. Look at grenado espada. They created an in game 'bot' to aviod it, but failed and all mightly WoW has bots that make the cap and never get caught.

Joymax's developers have been trying.. you haven't realized? They're actually moving fast with the fortresses. From jang to don and then hotan and maybe the others are still in development. Creating new avatar sets, better quests, caves were meant to prevent bots. Have you seen how insanely huge it is? It'd take a bot 2 hours to reach his spot if it isn't in the start.

The staff members quit constantly, because of the conditions. Hell I would too if they didn't pay good enough for me busting my ass off. Let's see you work in those conditions. I'd love to see that. (To those that'll ask "zomfgz how joo kno?" An ex-staff member or two went onto outspark, because of the working conditions)

Btw.. it's the internation staff of Joymax. They don't create the new avatar sets. It's the developers and which the isro staff does NOT do. So stop bitching about them making suits and not banning bots.

No, iSRO is still their main earnings. kSRO pretty much.. yeah. New games come out each year for them and they leave sro. cSRO.. uhh not sure since I don't know much about it, but not runned by Joymax. They don't maintain shit, but give their updates and requests.

you honestly think that they care about banning bots? Lol you must be new here. they didn't "bring out new lists", like i said in what you quoted, the majority of those lists consists of old bots that were banned in previous lists, there is nothing new about them. if joymax really cared, then they would have ingame GM's, or a working Gameguard, or anything, in my history of playing SRO the only known player bots banned were ~10 for each server, minus the huge xian ban list, and i've been playing since beta.

Indeed they might make more then enough money with just kSRO/cSRO but enough is never enough when it comes to money, and only 2 bot list bans within 3 months ? and only 300 per sever ? Man, i could ban over 300 gold bots myself in a day. Alright they might be busy with new updates and things and might not have enough staff but as a business perhaps earning thousands per month you would think they would have a business with 100+ staff strong.

They don't care. They're doing just enough to keep the game playable... for silk buyers.

Isn't that the whole point?! They are their customers. The user bots are also their customers. So don't expect to see either of these forces gone.

And hey, not only companies run gold bots. I've heard of many users who run many accounts to farm themselves gold for gear. It's all down to blame the users eventually.

"Joymax" doesn't deserve any credit at all, they could SO easy implement a working gameguard.
They want people to buy premium, so they won't ban 'em, sorry m8 :)

well ppl, might i can give ya a insight view of "how easy it is" 2 ban bots

so far, i did participate 2 times in GNGWC (if u duno, google it), so in this 2 events i did spook 2 times 2 gargamel (and he is male btw ^^)

ofc we did talk about the bot ban issue and i just repeat what he sayd 2 that, so dont blame me ^^

the problem with ban ppl instantly is that u cant know if theese ppl are realy bots, even with weird names like "asdj31hsajh", WE have 2 do a close check up if that "player" is realy botting, so this process take atleast a few days 2 be sure

The bans, they don't do anything. They just bring about MORE bots. Joymax just does it to try to make it look like they care, but they don't. They just don't.

lol take a few days to check? Shitloads of real player bots would be gone if so, just how is it they "check" these bots? You see someone botting, pm them, no answer? Bot >.>. Thats all a GM needs to do to find one, ffs they don't even need to do that in this game lol, just wait at bot paths, what actual player runs on a horse, and stops every couple seconds, then turns a lil then keeps goin -.-.

If they actually put any real effort into banning bots then players would be banned, they could simply login, got the west gate of hotan and stand there for just 1 min they would get at least a couple player bots, and like 20 gold bots >.>.

They don't try to ban bots, they try to make ppl happy and look like they do.

It is an obvious market scheme on the part of joymax. They announce an update and ban a small amount of bots a few weeks before the update. Then after the update people can access the servers for a few days - weeks. People, primarily legits/boycotters, go OMG JM is improving and load up on the silk then they get screwed over until the next update. Ebb ~ Flow, Joymax' marketing is dumb and works on short "burst" of silk. Stupid, but it works.

About Servers: JM has over-extended its reach and needs to cool the fck down. Condense the servers and hirer two GM's. There shouldn't be a long-assed protocol for banning people. If you're suspected of botting you're gone, none of that: "Hey, GM #2 I think so and so bots, lets watch so and so for several weeks". 1 by 1 checks suck.

Some facts:
KSRO is not run 100% by joymax, Yahoo Korea has some control.
CSRO is not run AT ALL by Joymax, they only provide the yearly licenses and the updates.
VSRO is not run AT ALL by joymax, they only provide the yearly licenses and the updates.
JSRO is not run AT ALL by joymax, they only provide the yearly licenses and the updates.

Joymax Korea does not run Isro but gives orders on how to deal with Isro to the US office.
The US office has ONE, yes that is right: ONE Employee.
Joymax has broken their rule to inform the community of any changes to the ToS therefore the ToS is invalid and they (technically) have no jurisdiction to enforce the rules.
Joymax bans bots only when they need to: Updates, New Avatar dresses, loss of income, big hype game coming into the MMO market.
Joymax only does updates to keep players around: No Updates = No Vets staying around.

Except with the last ban servers were still full within a couple hours ._..

You're talking nonsense. Its their JOB to offer stable gaming environment. Now tell me about the glitches/lag, not only that but in town spammers. Not going to complain about traffic as they implemented preferred access to those who pay the price, although I hate the other add-ons that come with premium/premium+ but w/e.
is it really that hard for the GMs to do what they're supposed to be doing for a living and watch out for the game? JM has by far the worst support i've ever encountered and what pisses me off the most about the so-called ban list is that its more of an insult by underestimating the player's intelligence.

they need a technical check? waypoint 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 , if they still believe it s not a bot after that they mean it.

even more easy way to check , be a human, log in, open your eyes, and you can start doing your work.
