S3 has a PR requirement in arena before you can buy it, and it's doubtful (unless you're a lock) you'll reach that PR without S2 or at least tier / tier-like (if you're one of the 2 classes that can use PvE armor in arena viably).

Lock faceroll times are over. It's the easiest to get 2k as a rogue, rogue/lock with a good geared lock will be easily able to do it even if the rogue is undergeared.

I just rolled a priest. I spent about 30 minutes looking for a girl name (Catherine, Julie, etc.) so I could roll a female and trick preteens into webcam - but they're all Farking taken. I highly doubt they're all girls.

So I rolled a male called Failboat

I did 1-12 in just under 3 hours, fastest i've ever leveled those levels. There's absolutely no down time, and you don't ever die.

I was refering to lvl 29-39. Cause without being twinked you can count on doing BF a total waste of you time unless you plan on sitting around to wait for your team to get the win to get you some Marks.

smite or mind blast depending on which is higher rank x 2, shadow word: pain, wand - with spirit tap when he dies you have 100% regeneration bonus.

Alternatively, you can smite/mb to death, and wand when low mana until you regen it all with spirit tap.

I absolutely love my priest! Started out with a mage but it was very disappointing. I have no probs leveling solo but I'm a disc/holy build. Just use that bubble!! I can't live without it, and once you get into the 30's or so you'll get a ton of whispers to heal instances and that's pretty much how I got from mid 30's to 53 without a whole lot of questing.

Anyway I'm still a noob at this game but I'm having fun! If anyone is new and looking for a helpful leveling guild join Anetheron and look me up (Shannanigans is the name) You can always transfer servers later, but it's a PvP server so be warned Oh and we're horde.. the guild name is Dead Reckoning (kinda weird but great peoples!) We have lotsa fun

With my mage I'm only used to wanding in emergency OOM moments, never thought a class would have that much gain grinding with one.

I'll buy a wand then when I log on 'her' again. See how that goes.

So my mage has been 70 for about 6 weeks now.

Been doing BG's, trying to get some epics.

When I just hit 70 I had 0 resilience, and its now slowly stacking up.

Does resilience matter that much?

I get completely destroyed in pvp atm

9700 hp, little over 2k armor and about 100 reselience now.

Warrior crit me for 5.6k execution, druid hit me 3.8k shred, shaman hit me over 3k chain lightning, crazy crits. My ice barrier just vanishes after 1 or 2 attacks.

Ofcourse I am just a mage, and my battlegroup is a few years old so most players have high end gear + alot of experience, but right now I just vaporize in seconds in pvp.

The 'videomages' always take alot less damage and the battles in those pvpvideos last way longer most of the time.

Is it my gear, my lack of skill, their gear, reselience? Any tips or advice welcome.

And yes, resil matters that much. Instead of wars critting you for 2k, they just don't crit you, and when they do it isn't as hard.

Hehe yeah since I got destroyed that bad in pvp I've been stacking stamina..

Eldr'naan gear gives about 40 stamina and 30 intellect each piece, and I have a few +10 stamina enchants from a friend of mine. Have gladiator head and chest now, with some stamina / spell damage gems and a meta gem giving 18 stamina and 5% stun resistance.

Guess I'll suffer some more to get more epic pieces with reselience then thanks.

A few pieces don't show the stats right on the armory (Showing +0 stamina and +0 intellect). Also don't look at my spell damage lol it has been suffering under my lust for health.
