I finished it today with the SRA one, just under an hour.

Gave up on torrents because at my uni. residence, the torrent clients have to be configured in a certain way and even then they still suck.

I downloaded it from FileFront and I got 1 .exe program from the dl. But when Legend III comes out do I have to run the .exe and it's going to install something or do i just have to put the .exe file in my Silkroad map ?

Just run the .exe file; that's gonna delete "old" silkroad client and then install the "new" client. (only run after legend 3 is released)

BEWARE: make sure to back-up ur screenshots! because when installing a new client; everything gets deleted! (i lost the pic of a 64+15 sun glavie )

Usually the dl is out for atleast a week or 2, so I'm guessing the inspection after next, but date hasn't been released yet.

How is Legend III out?! JM didn't even mention when it was comming. Or Is it the Download now and then it updates when 90 cap comes?

Legend 3 is not -out-, just the ability to download, so you don't have everyone downloading on the day it's released, and you're prepared.

The thing is, when Joymax made Legend I and Legend II available for download (prior to actually releasing the legends) they did put up an announcement right within the SRO launcher letting us know we could download it.

I find it interesting that Joymax made no announcement about Legend III being available for download. Similarly, they made no announcement (that I've seen) of the most recent bot ban. The only mention I saw of it was in the SRO launcher while the servers were offline for inspection "bot punishment will be applied" or something like that.

Too late for the botters to store their gears/gold (if any player bots were indeed banned...

OnT: What's up with the paranoid people who are wigging out about the d/ls from NB and Fudge. they're trust-worthy members.

I guess the really paranoid people could download Fudge's client, nightblooms, and the official one and do MD5 sums on all of them to compare. I just downloaded the one from nightbloom's link on SRA. I downloaded it twice actually... don't ask why... it went pretty quick both times.

Dont know about you guys but i had it from sro.net 5 days ago and it took me 10 min.
On the other hand I never had problems downloading sro clients. Hope it goes on like that.
The file size is 922mb and im starting to think that I did something wrong because of this topic
