mozilla firefox.

Post by ddoouugg »

Just got my laptop reimaged (school policy). First thing to do is download firefox, get it, good. Go to get some addons, and i install them, and firefox restarts but they dont show up on my toolbar, or anywhere. And it does say in the add-ons that they are installed and enabled. :x

Been through so many help things and nothing solves my problem, reinstalled everything several times.

so yeah. help plox?

as you said on Tools>Add-ons they are showing installed, so did you try to go to "Customize..." (just right click on the toolbar) to add these add-ons to it? (that phrase sounded strange... )

or it may be a feature of the add-on? actually just guessing coz i dunno what add-on you installed...but like i have a "Download Statusbar" that would only be active when i am downloading something and that status bar is located at the bottom of the window...:D

McAfee SiteAdvisor. Godly addon. It should be on the toolbar, but it isnt. I went to customize, added a new toolbar, but the icon for it wasnt there, nor anything that was installed.

i was searching siteadvisor over at the firefox addon site...lol..sorry i see you need to download it on the McAfee site...well, i actually have a similar addon installed: WebOfTrust.

but imma checking the siteadvisor website and it seems the addon toolbar is below on the statusbar...if you dont have the statusbar enabled go to View>Status Bar and make sure its checked...hth^^
