Well when I have a client open on my laptop for a long time (stall char) my screen either goes black, or turns grey the computer is on but cant see any thing so I have to restart it. My friends told me might be your video card or need more ram. Anyone have any idea how to fix this prob.
My Pc Spec are
Window Vista ( I know it sucks =[ )
2.00 GB memory
Processor Interl(R) Core(TM) Duo T7800 @ 2.60Ghz
Video Card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT

Either RAM or your card is burning out since you leave it on for too long. If so, get some more ventilation on it lol, perhaps a better fan.

Since you're running vista that already takes up 1 gb of RAM...it'll be eating up that phy. memory and then your comp will explode (well not really...but you'll get that wierd error you were talking about ..i think, im not sure)
Try getting another 2gb of ram..it's really cheap now, like 50 bucks
And update all of your drivers, that could be a problem too, but unlikely since you're saying you were on for awhile before it gets wierd

Wrong. 2gb of ram is fine for running vista and leaving a character stalled. Lack of ram will not cause a screen to go black or grey, that's almost exclusive to graphics card and display, including everything that connects the two together (eg: motherboard)
