Help on my Rogue build

Well i made a new char on Venus.Venus has a whole lot of partys which is perfect.

The character i made was a rogue/cleric and then by the 2x i realised people were not letting me into partys because i was rogue.But i stuck with it until 35 then it was really hard to find partys so my guild members suggested going bard since it is much easier

Now my problem is not that i have to delvl cleric to get bard but how much sp i will have to get

I want to get ALL Rogue skills and bard skills that i would need for party play

Dagger for pvp
Crossbow for pve
Bard for party play

Question is: What level should i farm at and what skills should i get for bard (party play)

the thing is your job in pt is to be your main which would be rogue, not your sub especially since your a pure str. if you dont plan on fightin whilei n the party and just being bard then at low lvls go for noise, moving march, and one of the tambours. activate the tambour and sit down and you wont run out of mp

no i was saying about running out of mp if you're going to use your sub, be it cleric or bard, as a pure str.

Its not really hard yes i do run out of mp when i cleric and i do cleric a lot.I dont spam my skills though so only tank gets healing and everyone else if they need which they usually dont therefore i dont use group healing making it much easier

-Moving March
-Hit March
-Swing March
-Clout March
-Noise
- Cure Melody
-The ones that restore MP, I forgot their names and am too lazy to look them up.



For my Rogue, I also have a Bard Subclass but I have way more skills. I just find that people have more use for these.

I had the same problem...went rogue coz it owns..and had cleric as subclass
at lvl 35, I was told that I would get into pts easier with bard....and i was planning on switching to rogue/bard anyway
even then...unless a friend or guild mate started the pt, id still get denied coz i was a rouge so i mainly soloed until lvl 42
now it was time to take on mujigis and penons....and still denied
either the reason was that rogues are useless in pts...and when i said i would bard...i was told that bards were useless unless there was 2 of them

so yea..go bard and you will be able to lvl faster while soloing...unless you manage to get into pts

Its really pisses me off when i get denied because of my build. i find it VERY stupid.

Farm at level 69, that's when I'm farming and go bard.

yea i understand that rogue rarely get into parties. but since your a bard sub, chances are you have a better chance now.

get those skills above, though not sure about cure melody,

you also need: GUARD TAMBOUR (you can just cast it and sit down if you are the second bard in party ^_^)

MANA CYCLE + MANA WIND = the main mp healing skills

DANCES = mainly the DANCE OF MAGIC, atleast that's what is perfect for a good 8man party since it increases magic dmg by 25% i think.'

btw we usually try to find a main bard and another char with sub bard since the main bard will have the dance of magic activated and will be healing the mp nonstop...and the other sub-bard will just have guard tambour activated and heal the main bard (or just sit down ^_^)
