Not murder yet but you are in the situation of becoming one. Other players are allowed to attack you without repercussion.

And its called offender. You just attacked someone in PK, but you havent killed him (yet).

Aaand, when you kill someone in purple name, you get some exp.(Like you get from killing murderer)

LOL. To add something, if you are murderer (or offender, dont know that) and you are killed, you will lose a lot of XP and SP. You can loose items in your inventory too!

if you die as murder you will loose only sp I think. And its called begginer mark, you can turn it on/off in game settings(not sure all versions can).

I always keep my weapon.
I usually grind off murder somewhere without gear. Just a weapon. Depends where I murder though. If its in DW I'll end up using some low lvl sos glaive for fun. If Hotan I'll use low lvl sos. But if its Takla I have to use my normal weapon. But if you read the help guide in game, it says you can't drop weapon.
