I love the idea of stopping not-playing a game. Quitting botting makes you a double-quitter. Or is it a double-negative so you are the opposite of a quitter? At some point or another, all these Ox33 members were proud of actually playing...then proud of botting while ridiculing actual players...then proud of quitting botting and ridiculing botters and actual players alike. Oh how I wish I was so intellectually dishonest that I could rationalize to myself that everything I did was brilliant simply because I was currently doing it.

They are moving on to Aion when i releases but SM will still be updated.

I'm not proud of botting, it is in fact some sign of weakness, however it was the only reason besides the fact that I like modding SRO to see what effect it has, to still play SRO, I was even legit on my first char up to lv 60 even when I had access to the softmod simply because I enjoyed playing the game, but when others start doing things to gain an unfair advantage and you have the means to catch up it seems only reasonable that you do.

You can generalize us all you want and I'm sure you're right about some part of the 0x33 community but the hard core of 0x33 did it for the experience and knowledge we got out of it.

I'm pretty sure that if the GMs would've been active and botters were banned on daily basis 0x33 would still be as active as it is now as most active members are just trying to make SRO a more enjoyable game, providing tools and tutorials to help others out.

And before you and you're hypocritical legit friends start calling us the elitist I suggest you reflect on your own behavior before generalizing and making assumptions without being an insider and actually know whats going on.

And to all of you whining and bitching about the fact some are planning to move on to Aion, whoever said we planned on botting there, maybe it actually is a good game to play and we'll enjoy it the "legit way" anyhow.

well i think it is not just that 0x33 stops existing for SRO i think also that SRO itself dies. Slowly but for sure. I mean u all get upset about bots. I can understand that i mean it IS cheating ( at least as long as not close to everybody does it), but still the bots were actual members to the servers. So at the time the bots stop existing, MOST of the users wili quit the game because the will not handgrind. So basically the number of actual players decreases. For myself this is the time when the game starts to die. A MMORPG is dead without its members and believe me the REST that stays (the legits and the Clientless users with 30 accounts each running at the same time) is not that much. Honestly the game is not that good when it comes to handgrinding. Not everybody wants to grind for 2 year to get a char to 80 and still have some RL.

So i think its really sad, i ma lose a lot of friends. They will not all buy other bots, because SM is by far the cheapest one. It won't shop existing immediatelly but definately farely soon.

BTW the server traffic will not be decreased xD there will only be more clientlessusers with up to 30 account each household.

yes 0x33 is closing, and softmod will be closing soon after that. but this doesnt mean that the # of player bots will reduce or anything like taht. this day just marks the day that a great community closes.
