Life's crazy

Post by Tasdik »

Alright so this topic is about some of the weirdest things that you've lived through, seen or done

For me it was a year ago my family and I were driving *in a big 15 passenger van* up to Minnesota from Tennessee for my grand parent’s 50th wedding anniversary we where about 2 hours away *it’s something like a 14 hour trip* some where in Wisconsin when my brother was driving *he only had his learners permit at the time* down the interstate and it began to rain….shortly there after we were passing a semi when all of a sudden a semi crossed WAAYYY over into our lane and somehow the short distance between our big ole 15 passenger van and the big ole semi the wind pressure made us hydroplane.
So there we are in a 15 passenger van loaded with people and luggage hydroplaning down the interstate and then the semi hit us. Twice. Once in the back and once in the front. In the end we’re on the side of the interstate *some how not flipped over* and my lil bro who got the first hit by the semi face is covered in blood…god….I’ll never forgot that image.

I remember that quote from Forrest Gump:

Mama said life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.

So i was siting outside of my hotel room by the beach...(Im still in costa rica).
And im waxing my bourd.
...Some guy runs out of his room and starts projectile puking all over the grass...I tried to look away but he just kept at it(Sticking his fingers down his throat...yada yda yada)...You would have thought he just swollowed some poison and is trying to get it out of his system....lol Yeah all i could think of.

damn.

I remember when I was like 6 years old, I was at my grandparents house for a weekend with my mother. My grandparents were very kind people, doing alot of charity and stuff, always planning fun things for when me and my mother came over. Anyways.

My grandparents took me and my mother out for dinner in a Greek restaurant, evening was all fun and the food was great.

Then around 10 o'clock or a bit later we walked back from the restaurant to the car, talking and stuff, and all of the sudden some guy runs up to my grandfather and starts beating him and pulling on his bag with his money in it.

My grandfather fell to the ground and my grandmother and my own mother were screaming and shit, all hysterical, and I was just rooted from the shock, it all kind of happened in a flash.

That moment is kind of burned into my mind, I remember it like yesterday eventhough it was over 10 years ago.

We had to go to the hospital with my grandfather afterwards, he was bleeding from his head.

:(

No matter how much you think you love somebody, you'll step back when the pool of their blood edges up too close.

Well I was also on a family trip, an entire car trip from Maryland to Tennessee to pick up my dad, then from Tennessee to Florida. It was my mom, dad, brother, and me sittin in the car. We were just about in Georgia so we were almost there. It was early morning and we were looking for a place to eat. My dad needed it too since he's a diabetic he has to keep watch of himself, specially when he was the driver driving all night long. So we go to this burger shack called like "Hardee's" or something, grab us some snacks and we leave the drive through so we can pull back onto the road. So we were going out to the exit near the road where we waited for the heavy traffic to clear up. Just then the traffic did clear up but something odd happened, my dad seemed to not notice. Immediately my mom noticed this and put the car in park. I'll never forget the odd squeel/gasping sound my dad made that moment. He sorta tilted his head back and just slammed on the gas. Luckily my mom had it parked which saved all of our lives. He went through a diabetic shock and later recovered that day.

another nice quote from that movie was:

I'm not a smart man, but i know what love is.
''When I die, make sure they bury me upside down, so that the world can kiss my ass.''
