well the new private server is up everyone. i will not post any links to it (since i got banned for it last time >.<) but if u know the sites, then just get the links. it is working perfectly fine.

find the links to the chinese and english patch. put new chinese media in ur mhtc folder by replacing the old one. this will allow u to play the new server.

to make names in english, u will need microsoft applocale, just like the normal pSRO.

to see everything in english, there is an english patch also, but i havent downloaded it yet because of the crappy site on which the file is originally hosted.

Important Note: if u already have the old psro (MHTC client) and if u want to keep that server file also, just copy all of its files into a new folder and label it ECSRO or whatever. download the new CHINESE patch and put it in this new folder. this will allow u to have this new server and keep the old one. ofcourse if u dont need the old server, no need to make a new folder and copy anything.

Edit: AFAIK exp/sp/drop rates are still 10x. not 20x.

just chinese. euro update is supposedly coming mid-may, but ofocurse the tradition with them is to delay 2-3 times at least. but this new server is currently only chinese =/
point of it is that its made for european/english players. so theyre will be no ip bans i suppose since its not mean to be solely for chinese players as was the case with MHTC.

theyre not banning english/european people. thats the whole point of this server. notice its called ECSRO (European).

and in regards to the bot issue, the official stance of the owner is that its no-bot and bots will be banned, whatever that means
cause ive already seen people saying int own that they saw bots. didnt see myself, but im sure nothing will be done anytime soon to ban em. but officially botting is not allowed on the server, unlike MHTC where it is promoted.

well the team who made it is different from the MHTC guys. so u never know. but yea theese guys love delays also

supposedly the server will be back on "tonight" (whatever timezone that means. probably Germany though). but yea u can expect more random delays in future. im just glad they finally made it and no ip bans...

Well doesnt work here, gives a directx error (says that my directx version is lower than 9.0b ...)

Eventhough I knew for sure it wasnt a problem with my directx, I downloaded the latest version from the microsoft website and guess what, it still gives the same error so far no psro ecsro or sroemu worked for me hehe ... guess I will stick to the official ones
