pk2 edit for rogues, a question.
pk2 edit for rogues, a question.
I came across a pk2 edit which even if a rogue or wizard goes stealth or invisible you can see them. How do y'all feel about this, if your a rogue or wizard. Seems really unfair. Please discuss this.

Re: pk2 edit for rogues, a question.
it's not fair.. simple as that.
It removes part of my chars ability, which I need to survive in quite some situations.
Chinese have skills to counter europeans dangerous skills.
Additionally, there are potions which have the same effect.
Pk2 Editing to see invisible/stealth only proves how much of a newbie that person is.
Not good enough to do without?
Although it's never gonna happen, I would like to see those people temporarily banned.
1-2 weeks ~ I would be happy

Re: pk2 edit for rogues, a question.
Wizards and rogues need invis/stealth, without it, they wont have the first hit (which usually kills one hit). And wizards die one hit, while rogue.. probably like in two or three considering you have desperate/extreme.
It really pisses me off is when i see a chinese just run out and hits the invisble wizard, while that wizard waits for the chinese to come out and not expect the wizard there.

there is like a million ways to see stealth/invis + dumb people who leave there monkeys on. why cheat when there are tons of legit options.

Personaly I don't think that rogues need the stealth skill to pvp, guild wars i'd understand but they used it like it was their life support, don't tell me that they actualy needed it cause i've seen pvp videos where people don't even go stealth/invis on their char's in pvp they just go out there and kill the person which is great. I would definately say it evens the playing fields now that I can see them.

SRF doesn't tolerate PK2 edit guides as it is (as you mentioned) unfair - i'd call it rather cheating...

if you are wizzard like me you need invisible to survive...
and ppl using that noob pk2 edit just kill over and over again.. just complet unfair... this days invisible for me just make me move slower...
even in friendly guild wars ppl using it, last one i fighted in, 4 vs 4 2 or 3 of the opposite guild had it!!!
if you get one shity char you can always pk edit to get advantage noobs... just get real easy kills that way...
that makes rogues and wizards completely useless...
and i think pk2 editing it's even worse then botting... ppl call themself legit then go pk2 edit... lol, great legits... even botters have better etics...
Cumps

You get banned from here for using it I think and it's not allowed cause it gives you an advantage over other unaware players.

Re: pk2 edit for rogues, a question.
I know a 9th way ^^ but it's more of how to determine where a stealthed/invis player is located for a split second, after that you have to detect em yourself
No I won't share it's pretty easy figuring it out yourself, maybe

Why do u have to keep it secret if it's easy and u know someday someone will figure it out then tell everyone?

First off, to all of those saying i should get banned, i haven't even used that type of pk2 edit. But i did see someone talking about it in game the other day. So don't blame me for using it. I just asked to discus it and see everyone's opinion.

Wizards and rouges really arent meant to tank,
So I find it unfair that people pk2 around the stealth.

Talk about paranoid, That is all I see on this forum. A bunch of people pseudo moderating, saying that people should get banned for reasons like using a Invisible Detect PK2.

Whats paranoid about it?
With NVIDIA graphic cards and the use of a software called Riva tuner you can tweak the graphic settings so far that some map elements like boxes, bushes and trees where normally players would be able to hide behind it? shouldnt that be considered as cheating and be punished? (this goes for FPS games)
Same thing goes with this pk2 example tweaking is allowed but tweaking to cheat should not be allowed.
Re: pk2 edit for rogues, a question.
Totally annoying - especially in job!
Stealth is a skill and should be respected as one. Remember that eruos not only have to get through all of the chinese buffs that you put up, but also through the extra euro buffs that lvl 80 chinese feel that they must have. If I am in stealth coming up behind you...its probably to kill you for having double buff and being a noob - if you have the edit to see me - why you need all those buff anyway? Most lvl 80 on my server don't even have the destealth skill up to my lvl to see me - either they don't have the sp for it or they don't think they need it...so buy the dam potion - the time for cheating in this game is over...play fair
I also like to stand in stealth out at pvp just to watch and to avoid damamge...nothing worse than when a lvl 2x player comes up to me while i am minding my own business and says "hahaha - i can seeeeeeeee you...taxi plssssss"

Re: pk2 edit for rogues, a question.
Hmm, I would say that in fairness to all, if 1 kind of pk2 editting is banned, then all should be banned. All anyone is really doing is changing the way things are viewed in the game, and isn't actually any more of a cheat then changing the way a weapon looks. I can understand how someone should be banned for using a program to level them up, or how they might be banned for supporting said activities, but seriously, to change the way files are viewed by your computer should not be a bannable offense.

Oh yeah, I only pk2 the way rogues/wizards look in stealth/invisibility so I can get them before they can get me..It's their Farking way to fight because they have lower hp/def omg..Use iron shield/fan storm and/or ice/fire wall if you are so afraid for them.
Pk2ing looks of weapons for fun =/= pk2ing the game to disable someone's skills =/

An edit is an edit, whether it is for fun or not. Botting is fun to botters, and SRF bans indiscriminately. Editing away the invisibility is probably fun for the editor. Fun is just a point of view and if someone is banned for trying to have fun editing the way something is shown on his/her computer, then everyone should be.
