unseen, what do you think of the basic attacks? Left, Right, Up. It has the potential to be a good, um simon says?, game within the game itself. As it is now though it's way too easy to get the 'right' attacks through. I hope they either make it more difficult as you lvl, or diff based on the creature.

I love how u posted the same thing twice even tho, in the top of my post, it explains EXACTLY why the beta isn't exactly "open". It was even quoted in the topic itself by some one else.

Anyway, yeah many people complain about that.. it's not an open beta to most people. Allthough i understand why Funcom wants the beta to be hosted by Fileplanet. The director explained it himself, they did it because they are sure that fileplanet can host it without any problems.

I really don't like them. Like as Barbarian you have enough skills and stances you need to have and there isn't a lot of room to put them all in. As an assassin it isn't that bad because they don't have as many skills (At level 20). But I like Demon because it's strong and doesn't have combos. But I guess it will be much easy if you start at 1 and up, not getting an automatic level
20 since you get to get use to you class.

The only other class I had much fun with was Herald of Xotli. I'm a FP subscriber already so I hope I'll get a key in time (Just found out I have work this week so I might be screwed.)

Edit: Well the first beta keys are released and I managed to get my greasy hands on one Downloading the client now and it's not that bad, 12.59gb. Can't wait to get into the game, only 1 week to wait now

Get signed up! The file is 12.6 GB but it doesn't start til the 1st so those with meh connections have plenty of time.

Have you not taken a look at the Everquest series? Eq1 was a huge hit, and was well known. Easily one of the best MMORPG's to hit the market. Eq2 isn't as good but still has made a name for itself.

Necro no longer appeals to me. I don't care for AI playing the game for me. None of the soldiers appeal to me either. I'm leaning toward assassin, HeraldoX, or, depending how they play in beta, a healer.

If you mean a better pvp experience, I doubt it with what we played. They'd have to change whole code/gameplay. Course, what we played was beta so it could be it's already done. I'm more of a single player guy myself, and pvp doesn't really matter til later lvls, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here.

What say other people that will potentially get the game to be in the same guild? If this sounds fine we could create our own or shop the internets for recruiters.

Ya sure I up for that. bt as for PvP I think they should make it so you can have more people in the bg. It's kinda boring with like 6 people. But another thing they need to make the team set up better like seeing who is in your group.

Being that the beta starts on Thursday I hope it isn't just a weekend thing. A whole week would be great. Plenty of time to test all class waters and make a decision on a purchase. I hope they include the spell weaving as well. Since the cap is 13 I wonder what else they're going to have for us to do?

Lol I hated the loading screens. It was just bad lol. Also ya the color of the armor is kinda bland. But do you know if you can use custom add-ons like on WoW? Because that would be great.

This thread shows every single store/website that allow you to pre-order, its a bit lame however how they don't add to that list, that some of them don't give out the pre-order keys before launch for the head start.

What exactly do you mean with a direct DL option? For the beta, you need to have gotten a key to download (thats on fileplanet only) and the original game u will need the dvd's for? You could download that , but you would need a key.

I mean a steam-like purchase. I guess by your puzzlement that no option like that exists, unfortunate. I'll prob pre-order from GS which is 40min away T_T.

GS online says there's a pre-launch play period for 3 days for $5. Cool but I'm guessing it's still better to do it through the store b/c I doubt it'll let me keep playing w/out a cd key even though I've purchased the game.
