Pure Str bow.
The dmg between a pure str and pure int bower is almost equal. But the pure str obviously has much more hp. Going pure int requires you to use snow shield. So your build would be:
80 Ice
80 Bow
80 Fire
60 Light

And I don't see the point in pure int nuker because you aren't going to use nukes because the nukes from a bow is very weak. Also a build like pure int nuker will be complex at 90 cap because you need fire and light because you need the phy dmg as well as the magical dmg increase buffs.

IMO you should just go pure str bow. At least a hybrid bow. But definitely not a pure int bow.

pure int strongbow crit = the same dmg as flame wave wide.

Pure int crit = Pure str crit. Go pure str. EDIT: for bow I would suggest:

80 Bow
80 Light
80 Fire or 80 Ice depending on preference.

80 Fire

Fixed.
Fire is required for pure str. Light, not so much.

I was thinking as a bow, distance and speed should be your top priority.

Hmm...ok.
I wasn't thinking of it that way. In that case yeah sure. You could make fire 60. Lightning imbue is almost as good.

I thought ice was the best for bow user considering the range. if theyre frost bitten then it takes forever for an enemy to get to you. wich makes for quicker kills. right? i always found fire kinda useless

You can but immunity to fire is less common.
Burn is not as useful as frostbite.
Ice is only good against people if they dont have immunity to it. Or else its just useless.

Dont even think about going Pure Int...If you wanna go Int, go Sword or Spear. Pure STR IMO is the best Bow Build

I think perhaps a better reason to drop ice (for a full str build) is the fact that its main benefit is physical defence, both from frost guard series, and cold armour series.

Think about that for a moment.

A full STR build is inherently physically strong. In fact a lvl 80 full str archer has around 20,000 Hit Points !!

Fire, not only provides the ability to do more physical damage to opponents, (flame body series) it also provides resistance to magical attacks. (fire protection series)

The later being far more useful to a character with 20K of HP, than having added even more physical defence. Which, in my opinion, would be a waste.
