90 Cap Glavier Opinion needed.

For 90 Cap I will have 90 Heuksal 90 Fire but..

I'm debating if i should

a)Fully farmed light to 90
b)Delevel Light to 60 so I will have 60 Light and 60 Ice

If i dlv. light to 60 I will lose 15 Parry 18% moving speed and 3% mag. atk. compared to a fully farm 90 player. however I will have Ice to 60 meaning I will have 84 more phy. def. then every other str. and 25%+ snow shield (at cap 80 i never use more then 25% snow due to lack of MP...I never had a problem with running out of MP at current cap with snow on)

At the movement i'm thinking of going light 60 ice 60 since
15 parry can easily be gain with some good gear
18% moving speed (main reason i want light to 90) at the movement I have honor buff (20% moving speed) so i will still be faster then a lvl. 90 light+garm player by 1% lol.
3% mag. atk..since i'm str. i don't think loosing 3% mag. atk. would make a bing difference.

I think 30 ice would be sufficient for a pure str, the snow shield does make a difference even for its short duration. The defense buff at level 60 ice isnt really high enough to make a difference (even considering the passive) and maxing out light only for the parry doesnt always makes sense. However, as long as you max out heuksal and fire, how you distribute your remaining masteries isnt so important so you cannot really go wrong whichever direction you take.

I completely agree with your point of view there if its only chinese race in SRO. Your view will fit perfectly with glaiver build BEFORE euro update. But after euro update, im not sure how well it will work out though, with those damages that euro made.
I would like to wait for some responses after 90 cap come out and someone actually reach 90 full farmed and see how it will turn out against other builds

80light vs 90light IS NOT WORTH IT FOR PURE STR , 5 more parry(concentration + passive), 1m more ghost walk dist, 1% more mag dmg increase, why would u wanna waste 40k+ sp juz for these small differeneces???

30 Ice, I'm a Glaiver and ice is so pointless for me. I use ice for the very first snow shield. You can be a real tank using that snow shield. The speed increase is useful, as well as the having the mag dmg increase. Ice is just not worth it because the difference between the phy def of 30 and 60 isn't much at those lvls. You wan't to max out as many skill trees as possible to cap.

out of all my accounts i can tank a warrior or dagger not for long but i can.
my hybrid int s/s and spear can tank a warrior and dagger.
snow 20% + phy buff 15 sec those 2 combine they cant even kill me
but your a PURE STR blader with sheild. i dont c why u cant tank a warrior or dagger.

1st, does the warrior/dagger u pvp against has similar gears and full farmed? mine are all +5 +7 gears and full farmed at 80

a +5 to +6 dagger crits 21k on me with Prick (i hv +5 full blue gears,garm, shield) w/o snow shield or ironwall, which is kinda 1 hit...and wif 25% snowshield i hv 80% chance winning if he doesnt turn back to cleric healing himself

a good rogue doesnt use dagger throughout the whole pvp, only when u get KD by xbow, den he will turn dagger...anywayz dagger isnt as easy to tank as u all might think

lol i can tank daggers with my pure int lvl 80.
i dont have full armor +5 i have only +3 becasue saving up money to buy 9d when comes out
not full blue.

pop up a 50% snow sheild

nuke + petal + lion shout after that there usaly died...
my weapon is godly mag (+100%) phy (+70%)
+7 XD crit 10

with my pure int spear i cant tank long.
i tank long enought to cast my nuke + petal + lion shout.
if they survive that i probably died

Yeah, the reason i want ice higher to to tank 2hand/dagger...
at the current cap i can tank/kill warrior/dagger using snow shield with a +4 set even if they use skin/bless....without snowshield at least 25% i don't know how long i will tank at 90 cap.....only time will tell how glavier perform vs 2hand/dagger at 90 cap.......i only see this 2 classes as a theat ....warlock/dagger=ownage btw. at current cap.

right now 80 fire and 80 ice glaiver rapes.
Pure str pot fights, and Int's cant kill them fast enough with weapon skills unless they get bleed and division on with nukes, but then pill it and its gone.

160 physical defense and 130 mag defense is wayy too much. And with 2k more HP from the passive and its GG in button smashing 1v1 in your face pvp.

The downside is no speed, no ghostwalk, shit parry.
At least you know they can't kill you if you're moving.

Final Thoughts :
I would go 90 heuksal, 90 fire, 90 ice, 30 light.
Buy yourself some typhoons, and know you can't be killed unless the person can out-tank you...which u could probably guess with a sh*tload of your mag and phys defense t (and HP bonus) that won't be too easy.

thats in chinese pvp by the way. I don't like taking euro pvp into account because its too fast unless its against a warrior, then your 90 ice helps a ton.

I think if your going to go 30 light, then the least you could do is lvl up force to 90.

That is only if you decide to keep light so far down. Also at this speed you may not be able to catch half your opponents and they will use it against you.

Ice IMO does not help much. At those lvls you could just wear protector and your phy defense would be much higher than the ice with garm. Moreover Euros don't 1 hit a glaiver ever. Closest any int build comes is a wiz and they need a 2nd nuke most times and the closest a str build comes is with a rogue and a crit. With the crit they can come up to 16-18k at most. With ice that may be a 15k or 14k-17k. As a wiz they come to similar numbers when they choose to attack. Furthermore Wizards are extremely easy to kill if they do not have someone healing them. They are practically a weak build without a euro party behind them. I may be wrong about this. However this is how I have seen it. When euros get buffed by a warrior or a cleric they are much harder to kill as opposed to the 1-2 hit kill that you can lay to them. Sure the wizard can hit you as well for 1-2 hits however a glaivers attacks come at a much faster rate.
