Re: best web browser
I prefer Opera, faster and equally useful than firefox, though not as customizable.
Re: best web browser
Firefox is the Scion by Toyota, fully customizable.
Opera is ?undefined? I think this would be categorized as the Ferrari?
IE is the most used, its the family sedan.

Re: best web browser
Firefox 3 beta 5, runs like a charm. And is blazing fast at rendering pages. Memory consumption is WAY down. Opera is going dooown

Just as the scion has the same defaults any other car has. Its the add ons that make it customizable, every FF browser is different.

Will let ya know (but it does look GOOD)

EDIT: First impression (after subscribing to del.icio.us for bookmark exports from IE7 and Firefox): It is about +¼ again faster than mozillia for HTML and significantly faster (Blazing!) with JavaScripting. It's gonna be my browser of choice, I can tell.

Re: best web browser
Update on Safari Beta 3 browser:
With only one exception this is my new browser of choice - it beats Firefox and IE hands down.
The exception? Too many windows system resources are consumed so if I'm watching a hulu movie in the background -AND- there is a anti-virus update (download) going on -AND- I try to look at SRO Forums here it will lag terribly on the embedded YouTube vids (but not simple text or pics) even if I don't click to play.
Both Firefox and IE handle that situation without ~6 seconds of freeze on the embeds.
The simple 'solution': Apple Safari for Windows 100% except when my comp is doing too much.
For instance, in similar situation I can open an instance of Firefox and browse the SRO forums np.
After a day of 'test-driving' I'd give it 1 and ⅞ thumbs up.
~Grandpa
[EDIT]: Seems the 'freeze' isn't directly related to system resources as I first theorized. It is a beta release and it looks like it doesn't perform error-trapping as well as it could.

Yeah, I've been a Mozilla fan since the Netscape vs. IE wars (back before Win95).
Apple / Mac product is better (for the time being) is all. Pretty sure it's open source too.
