garment is useless for pure int unless youre really high lvl. even then it doesnt do much. go with protector or armor. and i wouldnt reccomend ice if youre gonna pvp at all.

I've used Garment from level 1 - 33 with my pure int and i've only died from lag or DC. In my opinion, pure INT kills stuff so quickly that it doesn't have a chance to kill you. I would use garment for all builds until at least level 30. Thats just my opinion though! ;P

I dont know Kitary. With the new Alchemy you can pretty much get Garments to Protector level. But thats alot of money and alchemy invested into your gear. However, with the amount of money most spend on SOS items/Weapons, you can beef your gear up with INT/STR/HP increase and be pretty much a level or 2 above your own. (if you can understand what im trying to explain)

alchemy wont help that much. plain and simple. unless you threw millions into your gear, it wont make that much of a difference. just. go with armor.

Unless he's trying to Tank a bunch of Mobs like a STR build then I wouldnt go with Garment.

Alchemy can be helpful in making the garments more on a Protector level as far as Defense go. Also if they throw enough INT in their Gear they can practially be 1 or 2 levels above their Real level.

I think PureOwnage showed some Screens of his Gear, in total having 25 INT increase, and i think 9 STR increase. Not sure of the amount of money spent on it, but he's practically level 44 (his real level 36).

With that example being explained...I doubt he'll go and mess with Bunwangs even though he's the same level as it. He'll probably finish his quests so he can level.

But anyways, the SAFE route would be to go either ARMOR or PROTECTOR. I was just suggesting a Alternative.

Garment is the best choice for Pure STR seeing that you'll have the HP to support it. (plus you can alchemy more attribute to it...hint hint)

Fire/Light is a great match.

Light has the highest high end Damage in comparison to Fire, however, Fire deal consistent high damage....

Seriously, like i said, the lack of phys. defence doesn't bother me when mobs are lucky to hit me once before they are dead, i use skills non-stop when grinding so for me the speed and mp reduce massively outweighs the need for phys. defence. At 37 i may change to protector, but at the moment i can have 4 orange mobs attack me and they will all be dead before half my hp is gone. So im a garment lover. In pvp though, pure str will own you, but then again they will anyway if they are not really stupid. :D

Edit: I wouldn't get piercing force as pure str, only gives a boost to your imbue and IMO is not worth the Sp unless you have loads. ;)

You should try to get the best Weapon skillz.

since you said pure str glavie...

The Ghost Spear Series, and Chain Series are the ones that are worth getting...

And the second book of Soul Spear...and Flying Dragon

everything else isnt worth getting for real...IMO

I'd say Flow Pierce will help since most people use imbue when attacking...

You wont need Nukes since you Str build...but if you want it, its up to you...but it'll be a waste of SP IMO

I say get Light for the Buffs (i.e. Grass Walk series, FLow Piercing, Concentration )

Use Fire for Imbue

I wouldnt worry about Cold, unless u getting the buffs...

Ah, so his level is 36? I was wondering what lv he was... I see that guy everywhere, lmfao.
For a pure int, monsters don't really get to you cuz they're dead before they get the chance to hit you. However, if you do get mobbed (like super spawnage around you) while wearing garment, you might die =O
Wear protector if you're worried.. >_>

I think if you're pure str, you should just go ahead and wear garment. You're going to be running quite a lot so you'll need the speed boost.

Pure int is all about killing the enemy fast, in this case using a big amount of MP... You will require garment to improve your skills at being a pure int, so keep garment... it also deducts 20% of mp usage meaning u might still have enough mp to do anther pvp without sitting or potting...
Again, pure int is about killing the enemy before the enemy can kill u, and also, not wasting a single opportunity to blast out your strongest attacks on the enemy to finish him/her off...
besides, people always will use their special attacks(using up mp) in a pvp and the strength doesnt help them much, so ure better off with garment to block out the larger amount of damage from the opponents attack...
