Was just thinking, how about everybody post his very first post on srf here.
mine was when i was grinding with my lvl 20 hybrid whatever. i think that
char was wearing a spear at the time. anywho, i think it would be cute
reading first posts. everyone was so new to srf n stuff ;]

hey folks..

i have a level 20 hybrid. found out about the right way to assemble my stat points just around level 12.
between 1 and 12 i been putting 2str-1int all the time and afterwards just int.. but with no clothing on my str % is still above my int %
what did i do wrong? and can i still become a strong int hybrid?
really from level 12/13 all my points went into int >_<

can somebody plz tell me if strong int hybrid is still possible..

Or you know, like a true 8 man party of euros.

still wont be able to do anything if the gates are closed because its too hard to break it down..especially at this point. they are about to be lvl 4. euros wont help if they cant reach a target to attack...which is at top...and says cannot attack due to obstacle. the gates are simply too strong...many people started to give up as they saw that the hp of the walls was not lowering even with 30+ ppl banging on it at once.

ok I know people will say Ice nuke are weak and all that stuff or tellme to go fire/light... but i wont go fire that's for sure.... I want advice on my build now it look like this

Ice maxed

imbue maxed (effect) well lvl 1 of last book for maxed effect
Shield maxed
slow lvl 1 (mobing)
Ice wall maxed
AoE freeze lvl 2 maxed (not sure if lvl3 book is better)
Nuke maxed
passive


Light
Imbu maxed all the way (my combat imbue)
Pierce maxed
Grass maxed
lion maxed
concentration maxed
nuke maxed
passive maxed

heurskal
soul maxed
ghost maxed
passive maxed
Fan book 2 (ok i,ll explain later)

ok the main idea is to have a combat nuker, I don't want to stay away and nuke and when someone get me I die in one hit...

so what I was thinking about is

1 target = Ice nuke+ice imbue (more chance of freeze), then follow with light nuke for dmg and altern ice/light but always stay under ice imbue, so easier to run and stay safe

multiple target= Ice nuke+light imbue ,light nuke, stun (spear)

I've read that light imbueallow to transfer effect so ice would transfer (if it's an aoe maybe get more chance to apply) and stun would transfer.


when I can nuke form disctance I,ll sue my spear and when seomoen reahc me i,ll run (garnment+grass amxed) or teleport and switch to s/s for safer nuking


the thing aobut fan and shield wall that i,mnot sure is if it stack, I mean can i equip a shield, cats shield wall,equip a spear cast fan, then come back to shied and have stacking br? I know it doesn't last long but in duel or when ur in trouble with someone immune to ice it could help a bit




I think i,ll need around 230-240 sp for this build should i add some stuff? or any idea?

Is it possible to set the game to render less players on the screen at once? I'm having a hard time getting through towns with 500+ people being rendered all at the same time, gotta keep the camera aimed at the ground for best speed. Also, is there a way to do this but at the same time make it possible to see players at a longer distance?

Edit: Needless to say my PC these days will eat Silkroad for breakfast and ask for seconds.

Well someone told me about this page and how people exploit SilkRoad in order to show everyone's info, and I was wondering if there's a safe way to stop it. Someone told me it's by deleting everything on your dump folder (inside SRO folder), but I'm not quite sure..

I would be careful. A word to the wise from someone who programs. Just because you scan something doesnt mean there isnt a keylogger or some kind of tracker program embedded in the background of the code. Also cookies can carry trojans/ keyloggers that most of the time a scan wont even pick up until it is too late. If this site is truely "hax" free then cool. But I caution every one of you who is going to use it. And I say this as a last reminder, "He who trusts the internet gets owned eventually"

Can you then check it for us please.

Anyway, the site's pretty good. There have been numerous players who have tried to do this (like srmarket.com and sromarket.com), but hopefully, this one will gain more popularity.

OK guys here it is. This is the Mother of All Alchemy answers. If this does not cover something. Then Please ask below..

Welcome to the world of SRO alchemy. Im sure we are all familiar with the alchemy using the elixers. So i wont get into that.

As you hunt in the world of SRO to lvl yourself or your wolf you might come across some wierd items and wonder [Now what the hell do i do with this]. Well look no further becuase help has arrived. Those are special items which can be converted into ELEMENTS [Earth, Wind, Water, Fire] as the magic powers combine Captain planet is bo...... Ooops sorry thats sumthing completely different

Any way *cough* the way that these strange items can be changed into ELEMENTS is with Void Rondo, now i know what ur thinking [Void WHAT]. i assure u its very simple. Go visit ur friendly neighberhood Grocery trader and buy some Void Rondo. Each pot is 20gp. I would buy about 200 at first.

So now you have your Void Rondo [dont u just love the name XD] and your wierd slightly disturbing items. YAY.... o w8 what do u do now?
Simple.

Press the [Y] key and the Alchemy screen will pop up. Simply place your Void Rondo in there and then you will see that 8 boxes opend up. In these 8 boxes place ur freeky wierd item thingys. When uve placed all you can or all you have simply press FUSE ALL and watch the Alchemy work its magic [OOOOO PERRTY COLORS]. Make sure u have decent Inv space so u can collect all the ELEMENTS.

Now that we have our elements [you will probably be jumping for joy at this moment] it is time to Store them. Yes thats right, Go crazy and use your new 5th page of Storage. If u want you can sort them into ELEMENT and Lvl. [hehe geeky i know XD]. Now if u think I WANT MOREEEE MORE I SAY but u think that going out to collect the freaky items is a waste of time then DONT worry, SRO also thought of sumthing for u lazy ppl

This is where we meet Void Rondos BIG BROTHER Destroyer Rondo [oo cooler name XD]. What this does is to simply DESTROY your item and replace it with ELEMENTS. To use is simple. Press [Y] and insted of Placing the VOID rondo place the DESTROYER rondo [i love all these rondos]. The Destroyer rondo can also be bought from the Grocery trader and costs 400 a bottle so dont buy to many XD 100 is good. Now when u have the Destroyer rondo equiped u will notice that only 1 square opens up. You place the item u want destroyed (Wepon, Shield, Accessory or Aurmour) in there and click FUSE ALL. and watch again the pertty colors. YAY MORE ELEMENTS

But now u have many elements.... what to do now O.o???

Well unfortunatly those who are lazy will not like this part. U need to go hunting [NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO] *cough* sorry. XD. Yes well you have to go hunting and collect Tablets [Where Does Joymax come up with these names XD there so coool O.o] Yes everytime u collect a tablet it wil have a different property for a different item [read the Update for that to big to post here].

Ok u lazy ppl u can buy them if u need but beware its a new item and it will be expensive,

Ok so now u have a Tablet and u have some elements. What to do O.o?

Well in each tablet at the bottom u will see it has some ELEMENT requierments for it to work. Well what you do is. Press [y] and place the item in the Alchemy ring. Now u need to place the required ammount of correct lvl ELEMENTS. when u have done this. thats right u guessed it press FUSE ALL. and wala it will be fused. Now u can update your Item for whatever the Tablet gives. YAY.... but remember read about the tablet first. It will say what its for... and for what item.

Now this is the ANNOYING Part. When u fuse ur tablet and elements u will get a STONE O.o.... Now this u can treat Just as you will treat an elixer.. Fail or not. So you would do it the same way you would do an elixer. And now. Fuse. [your heart stops]

WHAT IS THE OUTCOME?????,
YES WOOT YEs [jump out of your chair n do a little dance]

or

NO WHYYYY AHHHHH MUTHER F**** U LITTLE ***** MAKE ME WASTE MY TIME [hit keyboard] [blame the wolf] ITS ALL THERE FAULT *cough* um sorry XD

it seems that every time i open a stall anymore i get dced and i cant seem to figure out why. i don't even open a stall and go to bed. i will be sitting in front of my computer and not pay attention for a few minutes and when i look back i see the dreeded "Disconnected From Server" box in the middle of my screen. i though it was lag, but began positioning my stall away from the chaos and it continues. sometimes it even seems that players cause this to happen that are in my stall. if anybody has any input for me i would be extrememly appreciative!!! thanks in advance!

i know i hate that crap. Even worse when your thiefing and some high lvl hunter comes and kills you logs off/on and goes thief o_o. Sadly the only solution will be the job update. Hunters won't be able to party with thiefs and in order to put on a suit you have to be in town ^^. That should keep hunters and thiefs more seperate.

i remember caring about this game, thinking things would get better....

I have Vista and I had to update my drivers to the latest (beta) drivers...of course, I have the geforce 8800 GTX card. Also, I get these random occurances of the screen going black for a second, then the game coming back up, but super slow..then, the screen will go black...it repeats that until I exit the game and restart the computer. I get a message about the driver failing to respond and then restarting. It works again after I restart.
