KnockDown Probability

I was looking for a formula that tells you how to calculate your knockdown probability, and I found this on a post (Friday, 08, December, 2006) from NuclearSilo:

u can calculated the probability with this formula:
prob = ( 50 - (enemy's lv - skill lv)*1/2 ) %

Can anyone confirm this?

I've had KD work plenty of times on higher level characters, like 19 vs 80, and can say I don't feel like it makes a difference. But, it is there for a reason, I can only imagine that it just decreases in verr small increments.

Really? Thats sort of strange. By 19 vs 80, you meant the skill knockdown(lv19) used on a char lvl 80 or your char was lvl 19 and your enemy was lvl 80?

Enemy was Lvl 80 I was w/e level, don't quite remember been a long time but I wasn't close, and I knocked them down pretty often. But as I was saying, it has to reduce a bit I don't think they would have put the level in if it didn't.

its hard for a lvl 10 2handed sword KD to knock down a lvl 80.
works like once every 10 tries.
I don't know if they've implemented it on chinese, ive never played a chinese char that can knock people over. They need to do it for shield thrash though, lvl 10(80%) as opposed to lvl 10 80% even on lvl 80s -.-
