Well the Wii does have HD support

Err, I thought the difference was from 480i to 480p...not much of a difference in my eyes.

If you liked super smash bros 64 and melee or any other type of nintendo games then I would suggest get the Wii (or as I like to call it the "250 dollar brawl player"). As for good games for the Wii I would have to say SSBB, MP3, Mario Galaxy, WarioWare, Zelda: TP (although I'd recommend playing the gamecube version instead) and Battalion Wars 2 was pretty fun although I didn't play it too much. As fun as the Wii is there are a few areas of complaint. Although I'd hate to judge a system graphically but it doesn't seem to step up well versus the 360 and PS3 and this is just for Brawl Wifi but I dislike the idea that your only two options for Vs Anyone mode are 2v2 and FFA. There's no option for just doing 1v1 or 3 player FFAs and there isn't even an option to switch CPU opponents off since the game seems to randomly add CPUs in to fill in the missing player slots.

Hmm.. i think the online plays pretty crap at the moment actually. Mario football was terrible online! Hoping mario kart will completely change that though.

You should definitely get it. Especially if you are gonna get SSB. Get the Bleach game too, I forgot the name though. The graphics are 3D, most of the games are and it is totally worth it.

I'm actually prolly gonna get a Wii myself, since most of the games on 360 that are good I can just get for PC. Plus Wii has the Smash Bros. games and shit, and backwards compatibility with Gamecube games. A system I never played, so I'll be able to get Brawl and Melee, plus the old Zelda games I missed, and the newer one. And the Metroid games. AND it's cheaper than a 360. So yeah I'm prolly gonna get a Wii soon.

But really, I think that metroid could compete with Halo. The only thing lacking is a decent multiplayer system. The storyline, characters, everything. It's all very unique. What makes you want to play more are the upgrades, suits, new weapons, etc. you get from defeating mini/bosses. And these bosses are FARKING huge. I mean, kraid(especially kraid) and ridley? holy shit lol

Well ever since I played Metroid on my NES I've loved the series. I've never played any of the Prime games though. The other games like Fusion and Zero Mission were awesome too. And you can't go wrong with Smash Bros.

When Magazine Reviewer says dat,they actually compare it to PS3 & xBox 360,
That dosnt mean they got sucky graphics,Wii got awsome graphics,only its mediocre compared to the HighTeched Graps of the other consoles,my point is dat its not like ur having N64 Graph's with the Wii >.<
And anyways SSBM is on Wii,so ya gotta have one
