how to ease the pain? i know aloe vera gel works and stuff but is there any other way that you do to ease the pain? for example: one of my friends puts yogurt on her all the parts of her body that is hurt.

p.s. i was at the beach these past two days and i got severely burnt. i can barely walk, poor me. felt like someone scorched me with a fire torch

Skin will continue to burn until cold water or ice is applied, so always cool down the burn first. Ice is good for most burns, but severe burns can only tolerate cold water. Try taking a cool shower (Not hella cold) that should help.

You can always go to your local store and find some cooling gels for sunburn relief. Aloe gel is probably your best bet to relieve the pain. Take Tylenol as well. From what I know, vinegar, yogurt, vanilla, all those other "remedies" are bad. Keep yourself hydrated as well. Sunburns suck, hope you feel better.

so wht u should do is have a cold facewasher on the sunburn and also go to ur chemist and get some really good sunburn cream

yeah i'll prolly need to end up doing that because this is seriously the worst i've ever gotten burned. its completely ridiculous. im not sure if i can make it into work tomorrow..i never knew it could be this painful. i promise you i look like a jalapeño :\

i dont know if the issue is still here..

but use tomato's to heal the pain. Its my mum old remedy, its always worked greatly for me. Simply cut open a juicy tomato and apply the seeds + juice and stuff to the parts of the body that are sore. Let it rest for a fair while and it should take away the pain, it always does for me.

i used it. especially on the last day. SPF 50! but this is florida, and i still got burnt to hell ^^

anyways what really seemed to work was what Itonami mentioned to me on msn. covering a little towel in cold milk and laying it on different spots of my body, boy did that feel good xD but im still hurting this morning :S hehe

yuck...cocoa sucks...there are alot of young people there, but the sand is fuckin nasty. the only good thing about cocoa is ron jon, and that isn't all that...

you live in florida, you should know better than to stay out in the sun for that long...tis shit will fry you...my forehead is peeling just from driving around with the sunroof open for the past week. we make sure to set up huge ass tents on the beach for 2 reasons. it keeps the kegs colder in the shade and drinking in the sun all day leads to baaaaddddd sunburn and alcohol poisoning!!!!

haha yeah but i became an idiot and i wanted a tan so like a dumbass i laid out in the open sun. and yeah i hate cocoa but it is closest to me and my friends wanted to go there cauz they are idiots. if i had a choice i would go to sarasota or at least daytona lolz. and i thought since i do live in florida it wont be that bad.....but this is the worst i ever got burnt :S usually i get a nice tan with a small tint of red.. but this is just a nice tan with a huge tint of red xD
