Re: Crysis
It's FarCry with better graphics, aliens, and Koreans.
Suit powers are totally and utterly useless. AI isn't that smart either.
That's all I know from personal experience.

Re: Crysis
It was not made as a commercial game it was made as a technical feat, all unreal games are merly technical feats to sell the games engine, so do not judge it on game play but what it has managed to do.
Full interactive Enviroment
Advanced Physics engine
Advance Renderer
Real time whether, clouds, sun movments and moon
infact i could go on for ever even the AI is amazing if put into the right situation which for a game designed for the commercial market would come handy

Re: Crysis
Graphics are the main showcase and man are they good
As far as the game, I found it really fun the first time through but it doesn't have much reply value. I'm stepping up my 8800GT to a 9800GTX soon, might as well since I payed $280 for my 8800 several months back lol.

Re: Crysis
It's decent, but wouldn't recommend a buy unless you get it cheap. Otherwise just d/l it.

+1
And if you have the PC tu run it in max settings.
Crysis = Graphics. The game is pretty linear no matter what you say, for the story's sake, a story that has been overused and it's not really that good. Gameplay can be boring and repetitive after a little while. Gun customization is a good touch but there's not much gun variety. Using vehicles isn't as fun as it could be. And so on.
This engine has a lot of potential, we just need that someone makes a better game for it.

That means, If you can't set it the highest setting. Don't bother buying it. Since you wouldn't enjoy what Crysis is made for... which is the Graphics.
hurr durr

The difference is, Unreal games tend to have fantastic gameplay and cutting edge detail.

Nonsense, Crysis looks great on most comps. Not on things 4+yrs old, but those people wouldn't be looking into Crysis.
