They do, basically all the lvl 77's are lvl 80's. It just doesn't update it.

Well 77 is the highest lvl that 8D reaches, so your highest lvl gear is lvl 77 whether you're lvl 77, 78, 79, or 80. Rev6 sees level through your gear. For example, someone with full sun (acc and all) would be lvl 69 in the rev6 bot's view.
