As for a game that requires strategy and brains to excel in try some RTS games like starcraft or warcraft 3 or you could play super smash bros melee/brawl (which are both deep when it comes to strategy/tactics than it may seem on the outside).

Yup,after 1-2hours of grinding on SRO,I always go play some WCIII TFT BattleNet,
same for brawl/meele,it is true u need tactics,my friend a pro on Starcraft pwned me on Melee at his first time playing it >.<

Why did no-one tell me that the lvl cap is boring...
I was farming a new char with my old lvl 80 then thought "why?"...

Do some jobbing (yawn)... cape fight (more yawn)... no more drops... just all around dull really.
I'm seriously thinking of abandoning SRO for something that takes strategy and brains to excel in (if such a thing exists - EVA online? Real Life?)

Unless people persistently do massive job runs EVERY DAY like the Beta, then capping in SRO is... pointless?

EDIT: besides 99.99% of the fun is getting to 80, why do you think it takes slightly longer than your average run of the mill MMO? Cause the FUN is in the lower levels, then at 80 you can rest and relax. Maybe even help lower levels once in a while.... OH WAIT thats right every schmuck and their mother will be 80 thanks to the primary shareholders of Joymax, friggin bot making gold selling bastards /rant

Once the bots on Venus are gone, I along with the help of my Legit partners will turn Venus into a carbon copy of either A]KSRO or B]60 cap. Venus has so much potential.

i have guildwars and SRO, guildwars is a totally different game, u cnt do ANYTHING unless u have a aprty, but sro isnt fun unless u have a party. If the traingular conflict trade system was reallt taken off its grounds it would be so fun, all there is nowadays is jobwars, like wen u cud 1* pop ;D.

Well I've taken a break for a week and I cant say I've actually missed it at all - the more I look back the more mundane and pointless SRO seems... I used to play C&C Generals which I was pretty good at - I'd love to see something like that that's also an MMPORG - but i'm just not sure such a things exists (something that takes real skill to succeed in - someone told me EVA was a bit like this?).

I'll revisit SRO in 3 weeks time after my self-imposed leave - but i've got a feeling that when I do I wont stay for long.....

Get a multi client, make two new accounts and name one Bot_With_Silk and the other Bot_With_out_Silk. Buy Bot with silk 500 silk, get pt+, a st, and a pet. Dont buy bot with out silk any thing. Bot them 24/7 see if you get banned.

that's pretty much what i did.

Put my cleric to rest until 90 cap is released. I get in sometimes to chat with guildies/friends but that's it.
