I want to make a forum. Plz tell me what to do, where to start?

Find somewhere to host it.
Get your own hosting and a domain, and install the forum there. Or use something like freephpforums.com (don't know if its an actual website, but there are many similar to that), and set it up there for free. And your set.

I used invisionfree for my guild's forum, only took a little bit to get the hang of it so it's pretty user friendly.

I prefer SMF but it's harder if you havn't made website related things before. I started off with phpbb, then moved on to invisionfree then got SMF. SMF has much more flexibility and can even be turned into a complete website..

If I were you I'd try to understand how to make it and work with the scripting and other things required first. Cause it sounds like you have no idea what your doing.

It can be as simple and uploading the forum file to the server you are using, setting it up, and deleting a folder when youre done for securitys sake. Not super difficult.

i like freeforums.org php action right there... but invisionfree board are nice to... or u can get ur own domain and code a forum on there with really nice scripting n all
