Fast Reply Needed! Dual Axe?

Post by Captain Tycoon »

Just a quick question, I am starting a new char. Will a Dual Axe work in PvP and PvE (lvl 40x)?
By this I mean will it do high damage? Is Dual Axe the best option?

Should i go full INT or STR for more damage?

Plus, Is it fun? :P

Dual Axe works both in PvP and PvE, you're partly resistant to warlocks but you're damage wont be over the top, and their is no best option ^^, just choose yourself a nice sub and enjoy their sweet skills (best looking european skills in my opinion). And even though their damage is reasonable, they have stun skills and are the fastest attackers among warriors.
And Dual Axe is from the warrior class, thus full strength is your answer for more damage.

warriors in general are pure str. period.

anyways, dual axes are a good mix of speed and power, however someone had some proof formula thinga ma bobber that proved that dual axes where the worst euro weapon, but i digress. Choose what you want, not what others want.

Yeah that's trough, but that guy only looked at the damage output and not at statusses and speed. (This does not say that dual axe does the least damage of all the europeans)

I have a 2handed warrior like most of you guys know it has great damage and decent defense.

Yesterday night I pvp'ed with a 68 duel axer (same lvl)
I was shocked  I always read duel axes are not that strong and all, I totally disagree whit that now!

We won both some matches, but the stun, bleed makes the duel axer stronger then most guys know, besides that they are really fast!

So maybe you heard before but don't underestemade (spelling?¿?) a duel axer.

When I reached lvl 80 (in about 6 years 8) ) I'm planning to take axe also just to try it out till now I'll stay with my 2hander

Put all your points in STR otherwise you woulden't be strong,
with cleric sub you can wear light armor (protector) for more magical defense.
Tip: with european characters the eq you can wear depend on your mastery lvl so if you decide to wear light armor instead heavy armor dont forget to keep your cleric sub the same mastery as your warrior sub :D

Warrior can wear light armor too with out lvling up cleric, but u will need cleric if u want to wear robes, and go pure str.
