1997~2007 10 yrs. of service... our pet

Post by Rakion »

she passed out... our family have a feeling she was poisoned... when we arrived from the beach around 11:25 yesterday, she was unable to move away from our parking lot where she almost got run over... next she kept vomiting green funky liquid... afterwards she pee'ed herself. My father called her for her lunch and were unable to go around the house, my father went to the front on the house and called her... but ten she tried to stand up and walk right... but she was too weak... we forcefully gave her medicine to the thought she might get better, yup she got better but is was just for a while. but around 3:15 my father saw her corpse... i touched her with my feet and started remembering her good deeds.

Ugh.
Our previous cat died at the age of 13 orso. I was the first to be downstairs and found him lying dead on our carpet. :<
We also had the feeling he got poisoned, but not accidentally :/

Sorry to hear. I have two dogs so I can only imagine how hard it is to lose a pet. It's pretty much like losing a member of the family.

I've been there. We have had cats since i remember, one at first, then, eventually we had a lot (more than 10+) until there was a season where our neighbor(s) started to give them poison because they complained about how they did stuff in their houses, etc (which was stupid because it happened like one or two times only in different houses and they had their doors open for long times so it's partly their fault, we think they only did it because they enjoyed killing them). ALL of them got killed, after that, we didn't want to have more pets until my sister found a cat being chased by dogs and abandoned. We have her here since then, inside of the house and let her go out sometimes with one of us watching her.

Lose a pet is really hard, specially watching them during the process.
Rest In Peace.

it is soooo true.... :(

its like a loosing a real guard... well usually when we go on vacations we let her stay at the house to safely guard it and the things around it, and let our neighbors to feed her while we're away... no other dog can come near her territory since she like the alpha female on the street(she a street dog A.K.A "ASKAL"). When ever i arrive to the house she it the one who welcomes me first... with a fast wagling tail sniffing around (searching for food), but usually i scratch her head and behind her ears... she soo love scratching her ears bcoz she places her head under my hand :) ... and when in times of feeding her with left overs and other bones... she quickly rushes to me with that smiley face and that erect ear... makes me wana hug her :P (but i cant bcoz we can only wash her once every 2 week XD) i totally missed all of that  i wish the dog that replaces her can be like her... only better :D

Oh wow, 10 years and you touched her with your foot? I held my dog all night until she died, she was moaning almost as crying and she was shaking. Once she died I fell asleep with her still on my arms until the next day when I buried her myself

Sirry for your loss though, I know it's hard to loss a dog after 10 years, mine was around 15 years old :(

Can't imagine what it'll be like to lose my dog. She's around 14-15 I believe, so just a few years younger than me.
