Euro farmering and owing. Need help choosing between xbow or

Hello,
I am planning to farm euro char. I need a character that can tank and attack fast. Now, i know that xbow and daggers are pure str, and they can both attack fast. So i need someones experience from these ttwo weapons. I kinda neep pros/cons. Someone give me good explaination plz. Ive never had euro pure str b4.

- low defence (if the get the chance to hit you)

- high criticals

- when using desperate dagger your defence will reduce with 75%
- low defence (since they are not ranged you'll get a lot of hits)

If your not going to go with both, I suggest crossbow probably. I have been using crossbow all the way to 69, and you definetly will enjoy killing things before they touch you with the range. They do not hit as hard as daggers (not that much of a difference though) and KD + KB can be a life saver. Jobbing and PVP is sometimes better with dagger however, that is why I plan on farming my daggers out again later on (80).

actually for higher dmg isnt it only the one skill? overall especially at the beginning xbow outdmgs daggs by alot, and overall their atks seem to hit higher

Xbow is great for killing monsters when you are standing in a single spot. You dont have to move around much to kill a mob (unless you are at a bad spawn area) I love using the xbow. If they are far, i use a Quick Shot (15M extra distance)) to get their attention, then do a long shot so i dont have to move around. Quick shots are great for a final, VERY FAST attack.

Daggers are also useful, but they depend on the situation at hand. If you are killing monsters, you have to waste time running to each mob to 1hit them. Although you dish out some amazing damage, you still lack range. If you are going PvP or jobbin, daggers are ideal for taking out the enemy very fast.

If there are many enemies in a tight cluster, dont attack. We are made to take out a single player fast (unless lower lv). If you attack them, use ur xbow because you can attack from so far away they wont know where to look.
