Fena, I just take a small scoop out with my index finger, then rub that between my palms. I don't use very much at all and it works fine. It should last you a while.

Just bought some quality stuff, and litterally just rub your head with it. You'll work it in and get used to moving it, and you'll find something messy that suits you.
