warlock vs. firewall :(

Damn how can i kill a nuker or bowman when they have their firewall on? i cant debuff, stun etc. and i am one shot but they arent any suggestions? (this question is came from my bro he is 66 lock/cleric)

Just don't let them do it interrupt it by sleep or stun

and if they do it stay away so it get lower and they are stuck in it

Yeah Yagami always has his cold wall up against warlocks, and there screwed due to his bow..

u dont need a sun+7 bow to kill a warlock if uve got the wall up.

a +3 will do since they can't leech HP anyway.

i dont see how firewall is the problem, u can break through it with mag attacks.

ice wall....if its not farmed ur in luck, whip out a xbow with like 20 bolts and break it with common attacks.

It's easy to destroy it as a hybrid since they don't one shot me. It just takes a dot and a nuke, its down, then begin the stunning/debuff/killing.

Well...a Warlock only offensive vs, Fire Wall/Ice Wall will be the Dark Mentalist Line, they will attack them and still cast, Bleeding and Dull even if the person is in the Wall...

The question is, who initiates the attack? Warlocks can pretty much cancel any attacks or skills when they are in range. Both Fire Wall and Ice Wall have a relatively long casting time that is easy to interrupt. Still, like others said before, running away from Ice Wall is the best, while Fire Wall can be taken down with a nuke.

I saw some bows that use icewall from the bigging (warlock did'nt know that he will do it he only wait for him to do buffs )

Well it become worse and i know that is a cheap way

warlock/wiz can do cures and then tele fast but walock/cliric can't but there must be a way to survive it .. i'm gona think a lot to figure it out

um... the fog sight helps here... not much they can do when their range is shorter than you and they cant move...

The cast range of Fog Sight is still within their reduced range, and you can't get out fast enough. Fog Sight isn't worth it to be honest.

you dont have to get out... fog sight is fast enough that once you use it their range is decreased and it cancels their attack since you suddenly become out of range

or maybe person i was trying it out on before was just bad at attacking :S

Just bad at attacking maybe. Before I deleveled Fog Sight, I used it and whoever I cast it on still attacked me, because the cast range of Fog Sight is still within the shortened attack range of the nukers and bowmen.

nukes and warlocks have same range so fog sight will give you advantage
(think both are about 18m :S people say fire nuke is longer but i cant confirm it)

bower might have just had the shot increase skill open and i he is higher than you then fog sight lv is too low to work against it

My Fog Sights were all hitting. But a warlock's range is shorter then that of a nuker or wizard, but you're still in range after you cast it. It doesn't slow them down, it doesn't stop them. The difference is so minimal it may as well not even exist.

So our warlocks have a problem with that silly ice wall ? lol

It's not that hard just play fast and they can't do it

and if they do , i have an answer for your brother

he will need some thing first like how they use exp. pills on us we can do some thing els about this silly wall but it will cost many gold

1 - Be sure you have that vigor pot euro can heal them self with this pot every 3 - 5 sec ( don't say it's a drop only i got many of these thing every day )

2 - Have some exp . pills so if the bowmans stun you can cancel it and run out fast in my tactic

3 - Get drug of typoon 100% so you can survive 100% , you can take 50% but 100% will do much better

Well now you can see it you will survive 100% the ice wall now with these thing Just use decayed and curse breath then run out of it by using 100% & that 3 -5 sec pots he can't kill ( you can use only 100& drug but with vigors you will survive it more easily )

Then if he use pills or exp. pills to cancel these Cures ( or its effect finish ) put that Cleric armour ( 45sec ) and get back to him and to it again

I don't know if you can use bloody trap when ice wall in there but if you can use it just do it with the Cures and do this tactic you will survive it ( actully you will take long time to kill him when he use ice wall )

you also can use only use Drag 100% with cures to survive it but he maybe have + 7 bow or some thing like that , you can do many thing with drag 100% but this what i think about to survive very easy with all these thing

And remember if you play fast and have a little luck with stun & sleep he can't do it

but what , if you can tell your brother to try using bloody trap and see if he can do it with icewall , if he can that mean he will do it much faster it have a nice dmg

The problem with this strategy that when that Cleric armour end

but you can also get back with out this armour you can survive trust me just do Cures and bloody trap (if it can be use with icewall, srry i did'nt try it ) fast and run away with 100% Drug and keep getting back to him do this more and more if he don't die and icewall still on when it canceled or gone you have 100% drug get back and stun him

and use Reflect it may do dmg

by the way you can do some dmg on him before he use that icewall

just need exircise

there maybe another better way I WILL think for another one

you know if bow is dumb enough to do it outside gate, you can stand under than gate in safe zone and use shadow armor and he'll still get hit lol

i think :S i saw someone doing this but i dont know if they were in safe zone or not but it was really close to it

Your secret weapon v.s Icewall is Drug of typoon you can use it either v.s xbow/rogue if he hard for a warlock/cleric

fog sight works well if used properly. and for general usage you fog, stun, sleep (if stun doesnt go off). this way fogs on you can dot then run
