Pure weapon build?

Is it viable to go for a pure weapon mastery and skills build? Focussed heavily on strength. I use the Bicheon skilltree, and I've been outdamaged by magic users 2 levels below me on the same monsters

Hey Shujaa,

I've heard that most INT (magic) builds have an edge over most STR builds in damage until around level 35-45. However STR builds have alot more HP than INT builds, so they can take alot more damage.

Yeah I'm definitely gonna focus on STR for this character, mainly because:

1) I always play a mage type char in RPGs, time for a change
2) The lag is so horrendous at times, the game can stop responding for a good 5 seconds or more at peak times. That would kill me if I didn't have so much hp and defense

But that's not my main question, which is can a Bicheon skill only character compete with people that use an element with their weapon?

Use force and weapon of course! Pure ints are supposed to hit more by the way. Pure int users hit twice the damage of pure strength, but pure strength has almost 4 times the hp of pure int when they're both at very high lvls. 3 times at the minimum. And before you use the bicheon skill, charge up with force first e.g fire river flow or whatever then use the bicheon skill. If you don't charge up, your character's damage won't be as high.
