It's been two years since I've started playing this great game. I still remember the amount of times I had to restart a new character because I just randomly placed stats to Int or Str. I still remember the first guild I joined in Oasis - Insanity - and the schism that followed. I still remember shouting "RUUUUUUNNNNN!!!" everytime an NPC thief spawns nearby my grinding spot. I still remember the times I tried to balance out my Thief, Hunter, and Trader levels. I still remember the massive trade runs we've done with Defiance union. I still remember the lonely nights of farming at Tarim Basin. I still remember the first batch of the detested goldbots. I still remember the hype in visiting Taklamakan when it opened. I still remember the surge of international players in cSRO just to try out the gameplay of the new "race". I still remember...
I've wanted to quit this game after my character from Oasis. However, the ideas of starting anew, holding the fortress, and conquering the botters were very tempting. I gave in and had a great time for two weeks. Hera, like the successes of Odin and Venus, seems to be promising.
Alas, outside the virtual world, a soft voice has been crying for my return. I've ignored a few responsibilities, suffered the consequences, and learned the hard way. Undoubtedly, my addiction to SRO caused me to almost fail some of my classes from, yes, Economics, to, understandably, OChem. I'm taking back what I've missed. My computer is now free from this game, and I don't think it'll ever have it again anytime soon.
It's time to dust out my old friends, for a renaissance awaits. To Art, Science, and Philosophy!
