LOL, i see a vast majority in this thread apply a Chinese mentality to European party play. Pls ask blood how Europeans are meant to be played, I'm sure (after that big lionshout thread) he can inform how deadly a 8/8 European party is. Joymax did fck up, because when you put 8 classes that perfectly compliment each other, you got a problem, its called: Overpowered

Sro mostly involves party play... for example in guildwars, jobwars, fortress or even jobbing. can you seriously say an 8/8 chinese party can beat a 8/8 euro party? think about it... euro characters were never made for 1 on 1 pvp they are party based. even joymax said that chinese are better in pvp but euro's are better when it comes to party play

read it from some interview or something cant remember ehehe

IMO, European own Chinese in both. They all are really strong in one thing, while Chinese are more like "hybrid", OK in all things. Europeans need to depend on each other, but if they have a subclass, the depending won't be needed as much.
For example:
Warrior/Cleric with a 100% Drug.
That's Cleric, Warrior, and Bard.

Chinese are just a bit more progressive towards being strong while Euros start out strong but they dont get stronger at the same rate as chinese. In the end Chinese and Euro will even out.

@ everyone saying these builds that are invincible to all other builds... THEYRE NOT!

No one build is so far above every other build. When you say such things it just makes you like an idiot with no clue of what theyre talking about. For the most part the builds are all even. Most euro builds, when increasing attack power loses 1 thing, their hp unlike chinese that can buff themselves without losing hp. Even though the chinese buffs to increase dmg isnt as big of a difference as Euros.

1 more time: There is no 1 ownage build that can kill all builds except for 1 other build. If this was the case why wouldnt everyone make themself this build that can kill the ownage build?

Sao I really know you love that Warrior / Cleric but stop using it in every post lol ... I think they are overpowered too ... but not invincible ... JM's respond to euro at 80th cap is disabling SoX drops so they are more balanced (which isnt really sucessesful) ... so Sun Blader has more chance of winning over your 2h/cleric ... You cant compare China and Euro with same gears ... not yet , not till 90/100th cap... 60th Cap was Ice Bladers , 70th one was glavie cap ... And we all need to agree ... 80th cap is euros cap ...

Blader maxed at 80 (with or without force at 80)
Nuker s/s with weapon skills
Glaivers (If they repeatedly stun)
Archers (with kb and stun)

Seen it happen as to why i say it.

And that shows, that Chinese need SoSUN to kill Europeans. If they had the same gear at ANY Cap, than a European Warrior/Cleric would still beat him. There are ways of getting around the snowshield and stuff, other than the absolute damage crap. If you have ever experience one, and PvPed enough to know them, than you'd know that...

there is 1 or possibly 2 builds out there which can ultimately beat every build consistently in SRO. I won't disclose yet but I'm sure a minor % of players "might" know or have an idea about this...

anyways...chinese have a good chance beating ALMOST any build in 1v1 pvp's but very little chance winning if it was full euro party vs full chinese/mix euro + chinese party

which i find kind of imbalanced with guild wars/fortress wars if you don't have a full euro party yourself...

Glaive can consistently beat every build on a regular basis with good gear... Doesn't make it the best. 2H/Cleric, in good Robes, is the best build going right now. 2nd Coming in as Full Str Bow. Who cares what they can do in 1v1? What really matters is how overpowered their skills are. At the moment the 2 builds with the most overpowered skills is 2H's Dare Devil and Bow's KB(You can make arguments that Warlocks Stun is better)

IDC what you say there are more overpowered skills on the Euro side and not only that they are inherently better with their ability to party without Chinese. It's not open to discussion this is the truth and there is no if ands or buts about it.

Glaive, even with good gear, can't beat a Warrior/Cleric...
For example...
Star: Full SOSUN +6 Garments and a +7 Glaive, SOSUN. UnDeafeatable on Sparta, until Swifter came.
Swifter: Full +5 Robes, 1h: +5 ; Shield: +7 ; 2h: +7

PvP:
Tanked until Star's snowshield was out, and killed. It was pretty surprising, but there were witnesses. Still pissed that nub didn't film...

Every character, regardless of chinese or euro, are powerful. It just depends on the person behind the character and the amount of skill they have. It's more evident in newer, non-sosun servers specially odin where the chinese and euro population is pretty split.

LOL. Good try running out 1:30 time of buffs. Sure you can hold a shield, but sooner or later, the dare devil will crit, and you're dead. There is no way, you'll be able to hold out the buffs that long.
