Have been playing Cabal EU for 3 weeks and i love it.

-Faster leveling due to a good quest system.
-Level is not that important as in sro, but a mix of level and rank makes a char own.
-There is no SOX. Players can craft their gears which means that no player has an advantage over others by luck
-Skill animations are amazing
-Graphics; well this depends. SRO has better textures, but i would trade it anytime with a higher draw/rendering distance which is the case of Cabal.

Thats what i can think of atm, still a newb in Cabal though.

yea, lower lvl is boring. but dont worry it will be fun at higher lvl. NA version do not have war channel yet.

In the current situation i would say cabal.
Faster lvling, more depth (craft etc), great community.

But if sro gets rid of all bots and all ppl are actually playing, id would be hard to chose. Cause when i was playing sro, i always thought: "There is no better mmorpg than this." Then i got pissed at the "empty" community and start playing cabal. And now i enjoy cabal more than i ever did @ sro. And the gameplay is excellent at cabal too.

But if sro would be bot free (which will never be)and with this everybody would start jobbing instead of botting , it would be hard to chose between sro or cabal since ive seen the good sides of both games' gameplay and community (party work).

But if u play another mmorpg with the same dedication as u play sro, u will realise sro isnt the shizzle.

I have played more mmo's witht he same dedication...but something in sro just makes it better..Even when the community sucks. I guess its my guild etc..

Job system is ok, but it only applies when u put ur suit on.
In cabal all 95+ maps are "kill the other nation"-friendly, so that doubles the action i guess

Only thing SRO has over cabal is the JOb System, which once CAbal has its NationVNation wars Cabal will be overall the better game. I really do miss SRO mainly for the people i played it with (TheEMPIRE for lyf... Avalon too :}) Cabal is alot of fun right now...

tbh the only thing sro might have over cabal is the people, no not the community of bots, but rather the guild/union we are in. if whole guilds/unions start moving to cabal i doubt anyone would find anything good in sro anymore...

Besides, SRO was just an average MMO at 60 cap. People only refer to 60 cap so much because the community wasn't as rotten as it is now. Also, the builds were no where near balanced as they are now.

Its what I have become accustomed to. I enjoy the grind, I can live without the quest. Before i played Korean Grind based games, i was quest orientated; if the quest sucked, as far as i was concerned, the game sucked. Don't know how SRO pulled me in so easily, Its like now if the grind isn't an uphill battle where your blood sweat and tears are poured into your character for the sole purpose of End - Game (End-Game, IMO is relative, you decide when you don't feel like lvling anymore) PvP, then it ain't worth it, and i LOVE the triangular trade concept with the historical backdrop.

SRO (still don't really understand why) Its like i leave this game for months on end, check GD after quiting 4ever then go "OMG must get back in SRO" terrible addiction.

Cabal online skill animations keep me away. The reason(I think) people still play SRO is because of the amazing skill animations. But if it were not for that no one would give a cow crap about SRO. SRO would be just another 2moons(in my opinion)

this is the first time i see a person say cabal animation suks... imo it's better than sro. more action, faster, and equally realistic (in terms of human body movement, as opposed to for example perfect world - which just looks odd...)
