Portal Help lulz

Im on the 2nd last level (lvl 18) and im stuck at that part with the rotating energy ball thing (the part right before the completion elevator lol), i have an idea on how to do it, but hell its impossible.

Any tips/tricks? xP

you think chamber 19 is the end of the game? youre in for a nice suprise. Anywho, just go watch some vids on youtube or look up on gamefaqs if youre stuck. I cant really remember what to do unless im actually standing there in the game :|

Yeh the best I can remember of Portal is the challenge maps, those were fun.

this ones all about timing



1. first make the portals at the red 1 and 2.
2. walk to the red dot marked with a green 1
3. when the energy orb goes though the blue portal make a portal at green 2 and then green 1.
the portal for the green 1 should be right under you
4. when you fall through the portal immediately activate the button which will open the door to the orb receptor.
5. the moving platform should then move.

thats the part got stuck at. (and figured out the next day)

the rest I'll let you figure out. (it's pretty simple after that part)

if you still need help on this one just tell me.





i don't recommend the video's since the will ruin the experience of flying through the air. i don't recommend guides either since the kind of ruin the task of figuring out the puzzle.

lol but the video's is simpler and faster and it was fun while it lasted... flying thru the air with all the turrets firing at u xD

for ur #3 u can also hit the button if u come out of a portal on the wall beside it.

yeah, the video is faster and easier, but it ruins the game more than the guide does.

and i know #3 can be done differently i was just saying the way i did it.
